Gymnic Heavymed Balls

I recently had some physical therapy visits to strengthen my core muscles with the goal of improving my lower back. The therapist had this ball and I used it in my therapy. Once done, I bought this one to use at home and it is just the same as the one physical therapists use. Keep in mind this ball is 3,000 grams which is about 6 1/2 pounds. There’s a smaller yellow ball (I think it’s yellow) that’s 2,000 grams and weighs about 4.4 pounds. Pick the one that you feel would be the best for your personal fitness program. These balls are thick rubber filled with sand. Should last forever with proper care.

I used this all the time while rehabbing from shoulder surgery. Works great.

I love this brand of therapy balls - my therapy place had the same brand and the products have long durability. Perfect for various exercises - I even use it when driving.

Simply Put: Great for what I needed it for. (Shoulder strengthening + reflex training) -->> Overall = 4/5 Purchased since it was recommended by my Physical Therapist for shoulder/rotator cuff strengthening. Also found it helpful for reflex training. I play dodgeball so to improve strength in throwing without hurting my shoulder/rotator cuff, this 500g ball was suggested to me and I've seen the improvements from being consistent with it. Make sure to work your way up to this 500g ball as it is pretty heavy and therefore taxing on the shoulder so you want to be cautious. Pros: --> Heavy and sturdy. You'll definitely can rely on this bad boy to not break on you or anything. --> Green color matches images and makes it easy to find amongst other exercise supply. --> Fun to toss around and play catch with when you're bored. Cons: --> Textile bumps on the ball actually aren't that great for gripping. They're smoother than they look so note that when trying to do grip/reflex training.

Perfect weight for rehab after surgery.

My contortion teacher recommended this for rolling out tight areas on my body. OMG. It's quite a bit gentler than using a lacrosse ball especially on knotty spots. It feels AMAZING and has made such a difference during my warm ups. I'm also a fan of using it after a long day when my body is tired from moving around constantly. This has been an excellent addition to my small collection of workout tools.

I have used this ball and others from this line. I first used them in my physical therapist's office, then ordered them to use at home. Great item. Very happy
