INSL-X Color-Changing Ceiling Paint, White, 1 Gallon

I got this to touch up some ceiling repairs, and was nervous this wouldn't match my ceiling paint. However, it matches exactly! I literally can't tell new paint from old. It's pink tinged and dries white which is awesome as up close it can be hard to tell any areas you might have missed. The paint is nice and thick and applies smoothly. I applied two coats to ensure full coverage. This will NOT cover any stains/water damage so you will need to get a stain blocking primer and apply that first. Overall, I'm so happy I took the chance on this paint. It's a fantastic product and I'd definitely recommend! Great price.

The INSL-X Color-Changing Ceiling Paint was a huge help during our Floasis ceiling replacement project. The color-changing feature makes SUCH a difference — it goes on tinted so you can clearly see where you’ve painted, then dries to a clean white finish. This made it incredibly easy to catch missed spots and keep coverage even, especially on a large ceiling where it’s easy to lose track. It took a lot of the guesswork out of the process. It also didn’t have a strong smell, which I really appreciated while working indoors. I expected it to be thicker, but it actually applied more like a normal paint consistency, which made it easy to roll on smoothly. The paint had great coverage and dried nicely without any patchiness. Once dry, the finish looked clean and consistent. It is a bit pricey, but honestly worth it for the time and frustration it saves. If you’re tackling any ceiling project, especially a bigger one, this is definitely a must-have.

Excellent paint. Was awesome to work with. Not too thick for the deep ceiling texture. Not too messy with drips. Goes on light pink.. wish the pink was a little darker. Overall great experience painting the ceiling in three rooms.

Good coverage, but don’t count on seeing the pink. It’s really close enough to White that you can’t even tell.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This paint was used on my ceiling and it is a great product to cover up ceiling stains from water leaks! It goes on as a light pink color so you can easily see where you’ve painted and where you haven’t. It dries a very nice white and blends in nicely with the surrounding ceiling paint. Love it!

Very poor coverage. Color change is negligible 3 coats on top of already whitewash and patchy..
