If this Ipad is year 2020 how is gen 2?

The first gen of 11 inch iPad pro is 2018. 2nd Gen is 2020

I've read many reviews about scratches on screen, ipad is "locked to owner". Please say that it is not true????

I HAVE experienced THAT problem BUT absolutely NOT for Amazon. PROBLEM: previous owners settings including Apple ID(!) and passwords (!!!) remained after "refurb". Solution: restore to factory settings, connect to primary net access (I used home wifi) enter own Apple ID... process time about 5 minutes. Problem is not a big problem for buyer, it's a HUGE problem for previous owner (be careful with trade-ins, folks), and problem for reseller. I will never trust Tiger (TCE) again, but everything else such as advertised condition=condition of unit received. Great deals from TCE may be considered, NO TRADE-INS EVER. However,I tend to keep my old stuff as "Classic Macs" and obsolete iPads make great toilette TVs. Ipad battery replacements are alway possible, must consider value based on costs of available service providers (please remove any sensitive data first, they might steal it).
