Does it help darken blue jeans? What if they are two-toned faded on purpose?

I does not darken the colors it just keeps them from fading as quickly as when you use regular detergent.

Will it discolor white lettering on dark clothes?

I've used Perwoll for several years, and never had any discoloration. I think the product is great.
