It smells really good. Other than that, its an eco friendly detergant for black clothes. I buy it all the time.

WORKS!!!
I've been using this detergent for my black washables for years. It keeps blacks black and fresh. Word of caution, don't overuse as it will leave residue on the fabrics. And don't mistakenly let any colors fall into the load, it will cause the color to look dull and greyed (ask me how I know?????).

This product is the real deal for renewing faded darks. Worth the money … so glad I found it and a little goes a long way. Highly recommended!

requires a fabric softener dispenser
my washer doesn't have a fabric softener dispenser so I put this in the main wash cycle (clean clothes, just for darkening), and it doesn't do anything...

Save your money
I purchased this to restore old work shirts. I washed the shirts a few times, not a major difference in color. Not worth the cost of this detergent. Would have recommended it had it worked regardless of the cost because it would’ve been cheaper than purchasing more work shirt. 3 stars because of the cost and minimal change in color.
