Ok but has flaws that may affect some users of big cell phone
I'd give this item 3 1/2 stars. I've used other Steadicam products like the Merlin and can say the Smoothee does what it is supposed to do. It is also FAR easier to set up than the Merlin, for example. However, you need to understand this is not a just "snap it on and go" product. You can get great results filming with this device, but you must balance it precisely (takes patience & time), and there is a lot of practice required so that it does not spin to the right or left as you move (good technique takes a lot of practice). If you are not willing to work with the learning curve - IMHO it is not that bad - then choose something else. There is another problem that may make this not the device for you.First, for large cell phones like the Iphone Plus, Galaxy Note series or any other monster phone is barely able to be balanced. Smaller phones should be no issue because the weight and size. We had to remove the case our large phone because it could NOT balance on the Smoothee no matter what and only 1 weight is included in the package. Just take off the case? The problem with this solution is that the phone slipped out of the adapter twice (it was in tight) with the case on and hit the wood floor. We were not comfortable putting it in without a case, but I can confirm that you can balance it and use it - but at your own risk. Keep in mind when I say case I'm just talking about the rubber and plastic that weighs very little like on an Otter etc. Is this the right device for you? If you are willing to learn how to use and and if you have a smaller phone than for $90 it's a good deal.

Unstable and tricky
It is a bit sticky, hard to adjust, and likes to "wander". It takes away only a little hand shake compared to a 2-hand hold. You have to hold it with one hand and keep another on or near it to correct the positioning at all times. On the plus side, you can keep your elbows in when you are sitting in an audience (say at a kids' play).

Don't Waste your Money! Don't!
This is pure junk! I read a ton or reviews, and they mostly averaged near 3.5 stars. But the 1 and 2 star reviews were the most accurate. It is extremely hard to get my phone to balance (iPhone 6s Plus), and when you do, you can't really walk around filming without it swinging side to side. I purchased this before going on vacation, assuming I could shoot shake-free, smooth videos. Well if you manage to get your phone to stay, without flopping over, it swings after 2 steps. My father-in-law was really excited to see I had this, as he has been in Video Production for over 30 years. He said he couldn't believe Steadicam could make such a small unit. I told him, if he could balance either of our phones (his was a Samsung Galaxy 6), he could have it. After 5 minutes he got it to balance with his phone, then started to walk around my room filming. 5 minutes later he went into a rant about how he cannot believe Steadicam would allow their name on such a piece of junk.Waste of $100. I'm gonna put it on eBay. Somebody might want it for half price.

It only gets 2 stars because it seems like steady construction
It only gets 2 stars because it seems like steady construction. I tried for 45 minutes to get it calibrated and even watched a long official YouTube video to make sure I was doing it right. Ultimately I gave up. Any time I thought I was nearly calibrated it would flop over to the other direction. And like some others have said it's really heavy. I used the iPhone 7 Plus with it, FYI>

Not Great.
It's just OK. Seems to have a mind of its own, causing the iPhone to wander at will. Will probably return it.

This is just OK. Kind of large and a bit "fussy". Usable, but next time around I might try another option.

Three Stars
Picture deceiving, it was the attachment for the IPhone only but not the holder

Good but tricky Steadicam
The videos are smooth, I have to admit. Nevertheless, it is very tricky to adjust it, level it and then, it takes tons of practice and experience to use it. I decided to return it because it was too wobbly and hard to use.
