The Blue Rabbit Larch (Larix Kampferi) is a stunning 2-year tree known for its soft blue-green needles and narrow pyramidal shape. It thrives in zones 4-8, quickly reaching heights of 30 feet while showcasing gorgeous amber fall colors and producing an abundance of tiny cones.

Fireworks
My tree is 10" tall with a healthy root system. The needles form in a flower like shape so it looks like little fireworks exploding a long its' branches! In fall, the needles turn yellow/gold and drop off leaving a reddish truck and branches for winter interest! After studding the tree, I can see why it is called a "Blue Rabbit". The seedling looks like is has blue/green fur because of the needles forms tufts.. The American Confer Society states (on their website) that this tree grows 12" a year.
