I needed something for my leather couch to protect it from a med/large dog jumping up. There is no rubber backing to help keep it in place on the leather. Pros: Elastic holds it firm across the back of the couch. Easy to wash. Was able to colour match our couch. Cons: Top had to be modified by me to hold it in place over the back of the couch. Arm rests constantly slide off. Seat cover slides around and off constantly. Securing the elastic may require a better system. It blends better than the blanket I was using and holds in place a wee bit better. Might stay in place better on a fabric couch.

First things first: this is not a fancy sofa cover. In fact, it feels and looks somewhat cheap. Nonetheless, it is efficient -- it accomplishes its main job of protecting your couch. We have been using it for the past 2 months ever since we started boarding dogs in our home. We thought we needed some sort of protection since we would be having dogs over constantly. And for that, the cover has been excellent. It has protected our couch from multiple zoomies and claws. However, we do have 3 issues with this couch cover: 1. It has a strap so you can tie the upper part of the cover to the back of the couch. To us, this is utterly useless. The upper cover is very long and thus falls to the back of our couch quite a lot. We have no need to strap it. 2. There's a strap for the top part, but none for the lower part -- and that's the part that's rather short in our couch and constantly goes up. For us, it would be much more useful if there was a strap to tie the lower section of cover to the couch, so that it doesn't go up. Often, dogs will dig the cover, and it will slide up, because we just can't tie it down. 3. Finally, it is short for our couch. I do realise this is not necessarily the product's fault, but it is something that bothers us. Perhaps the manufacturer could offer extra wide covers, instead of this standard length. Thus, we're constantly having to adjust the cover, either pulling it more to the left or to the right. Overall, it is a functional product. Could be prettier. Could be a wee bit better. Giving it 4/5.
