Bought this for my son as he starts his bass journey. Seems like it's got the fretboard fundamentals laid out pretty simply.

It's a good refresher for everyone. I read through it within the prescribed 24 hours and I'll probably read it again.

Authors attempts at humor came across as childish IMHO Maybe it works for some, not for me I returned it and purchased one more written for adults

Two schools and a dozen of classes, I am 60, never did what this book did to me. It gave me fundaments. I have a Phd. and decided to learn bass a couple of years ago, minus 2 years lost thanks to covid, just because I wanted to. Theory is my forte but these schools wanted me to practice and play, I can’t do why I do not understand. This book gave me what I needed in a couple of hours. Believe the title, it works, and now I Can Practice, thanks.

I has been years since I picked up my bass guitar. Forgot everything I knew. This helped refresh my memory quickly. Good book for beginners and old timers alike.
