Tomato Basil Sauce

I thought this was very good sauce considering it's low calorie and low carb it tasted fine to me. I put it on top of some boneless chicken with no skin and a little low fat low-cal mozzarella cheese it was very good you can also make an Italian style omelette with it

This brand came highly recommended for sugar free but there is so little flavor for so much money. I should have paid better attention to the jar size, it’s a jelly jar of sauce and is basically salted tomato sauce.

Came sealed. Not broken, not to thick or thin. Taste great to me. I generally add pepper to everything. If you're not used to eating without a lot of seasoning, you may need to add a few spices for your taste (my husband did but he's also not on this diet). I'll be ordering more!

The sauce has a decent enough flavor, but I find the thickness a little off. It's thin, and most of the time, barely coats the noodles. Using a smoother noodle, like an angel hair, is absolutely not a good choice, as you'll end up with a bunch of runny, watery sauce at the bottom of the noodles. Instead, choose something like a penne, rigatoni, or maybe a vermicelli, to give the sauce some grooves to stick to. Do that, and you're set. The flavor is not as sweet, somewhat bold, and it has a curiously spiced aftertaste, like there's a ton of parsley or basil in it. It has a definite "artificial" tinge to it, but you have to expect that from a zero-calorie product. All in all, I give it four out of five. If the texture were thicker, it'd probably be a fiver. I'd suggest a pasta with texture or to add a thickener to it.

Just a wonderful marinara. Add your favorite spices, mine are garlic, onion, and red pepper flakes. I made a ground beef pasta sauce and served it with hearts of palm linguine. DELIGHTFUL.

Some Walden Farms items are great, others, like the pasta sauce is very bland. I added it to lean beef and added Italian seasonings, garlic, and onion powder. That helped but not enough. I'll stick to my own sauce, which is much cheaper to make, and tastes 100% better. Won't buy it again.

I am on a no sugar diet and I thought I would try this marinara sauce since it has no sugar. I tried it and did not like it. It had a bad after taste and didn’t even taste like marinara sauce. I tried it a second time, thinking maybe it was just me, but I got the same bad after taste. I ended up throwing away almost the entire jar because that is how bad it tasted. I would definitely not buy this again.

Bought this while i was dieting, and honestly it taste just like lunchable pizza sauce. Great flavor in my opinion, I still use it on food and goes well with veggies as well! Seriously very tasty AND HEALTHY!!!

Perfect ultra low-calorie product, great with mixed veg and Slim Pasta for lunch or meal replacement.

Great flavour but size wise only lasts 3 days maximum/3 meals.
