Mermaids Coloring Book

I love this Coloring book! It's one of my top favorites and i'm obsessed with adult coloring books. I first found Jasmines coloring book's on ebay or amazon, The first one I found about 4 years ago Jasmine Becket Griffith Coloring Book: A Fantasy Art Adventure and I fell in love with her art work and her Coloring books, I had to have them all and now I have thios mermaid one to which is another amazing coloring book from her art collection..She takes her art work and puts so many pieces into her coloring book and there all amazing ! She also has Halloween and Alice in Wonderland so a total of 4 coloring books so far. She also has 6 or more portfolios you can buy that have all her art work shes made, which someday I would love to own, Just dont have the extra cash right now, there about $100 each but way worth it her art work is amazing, I wish she would turn them all into coloring cooks we can buy and create ourselves! One day I will buy a real piece of her art to hang on my wall, Specifically one of my favorites, either the picture on the cpover of this book or the mermaid picture in her first coloring book..She's upright out of the ocean with a moon or sun in the background and waves. It's so beautiful, so if your hesitant to buy please dont be and buy it, heck buy 2 and give one a away or as a gift or even just have an extra so you can make more of one of them all or just your favorites..I plan on buying 2 of every one of my favorite coloring books so I can Have one left as a book and the other I can take apart and frame them !! Have fun I cant wait These are the supplies I use just in case you wanna know....I have a huge collection of art supplies ranging from staedtler fineliner markers, Sakura Gelly roll Gel pens, Gel Pens made from all different brands mostly no name besides the Gelly roll. And I also use colored pencils. They all work amazing on this book, the pages are nice and thick so you don't have to worry about bleeding through, but I always use a piece of blank paper anyway just in case, plus it works great for a color tester page.

LOVE, love, LOVE this book, I like how she left some of the tails blank so you can just do your own think with them, I've tried some glitter paint, some fishnet with chalk, and some tiny gemstones to add more detail so far into my pictures...I'm having a wonderful time coloring in this book, Jasmine Becket-Griffith has some very beautiful artwork/many coloring books. I believe I have purchased them all as well as others. I'd definitely buy this book if you like sea like settings, and mermaids. No complaints what so ever, her books are always VERY good quality, nice thick paper, although i do place some thin cardboard underneath what i am coloring in case i use any type of wet mediums (markers/paints of any kind) to prevent it from bleeding through. Have had no issues so far. Her books are much too nice for me to cut the pictures out to color, i'd like to keep them all in one place, and also note no colors have gotten onto the backside of other pages prior. Highly recommend this book, as well as her others! :)

In My Opinion this is Jasmine's most challenging coloring book (I have all three). There are many detailed pages which require very sharp pencils or 3/5mm pens to color the images (for me anyways). Unlike the first two, there are no bat wings, lots of mermaid tails and scantly clad mermaids to boot. Almost any living critter one can imagine in the ocean is in this book to color. I used Sharpies and Stabilo 88's (both are alcohol based markers) and I had minor bleed through, I always use pages underneath my coloring page, so no worries of contaminating other pages. I also used a Acrylic Paint Pen, on one coloring and no bleed through (I used a LOT of paint). A lot of pages are printed Landscape instead of the traditional Portrait layout. All in all, a fun, challenging, exciting, and rewarding book to own. Plus, it has a pretty cover. Here is one of my coloring's

The third coloring book by Jasmine Becket-Griffith contains 52 pages of illustrations and 3 pages of introductory material. It measures 8.5 x 11 inches and is sewn into a thick brown cardboard cover with a removeable dust jacket. The images are much like Jasmine's two other books but they feature mostly mermaids and other sea creatures with a few other things thrown in for a true Jasmine Becket-Griffith experience :) The paper in this book is cream colored and of decent weight just like the other two books she has released. All pages feature an image on one side and description about the image by Jasmine. The paper isn't perforated. All mediums should would on the paper as per usual but if you are worried about bleed through (like with alcohol based markers or other wet mediums) make sure to take precautions by placing several sheets of paper under whatever you are working on. It's always a good idea to do this to also prevent image transfer onto the page behind what you are working on :) All in all I find this book to be my favorite out of the three books and I feel very inspired by all the images! I will add images later as I complete them in the book.

I can never say anything bad about the artwork of Jasmine Becket-Griffith. I was so happy a few years ago when she came out with her first coloring book. Now I believe she has three. This Mermaids book is delightful to color and the backgrounds are beatutiful. I thoroughly enjoy this book. I just wish that I could color as wonderfully as Jasmine paints.

i love her coloring books this was the last coloring book , i already own the other 2. i love these books so much the pages r thick and just very beautifully printed! if u like mermaid fairies or even just fantasy creatures u will love any book by Jasmine Becket-Griffith!!

I love this artist and the coloring books. I try to get 2 of every copy, one to color in and one to collect. The book is nice and thick and there are several images.

I absolutely love this book, it is probably my favorite so far because I LOVE mermaids. Jasmine's art is just gorgeous. There's a little bit of everything for everyone; Simple pages, detailed pages, blank spaces to add your own style. The paper quality is outstanding, as it is in all of her books. The images are single sided, with a title and information about the next page on the back, so it's convenient for those who like to use markers or wet mediums. There are lots of flipthroughs and reviews on YouTube if you'd like to learn more about the book before purchasing. Xx

Another beautiful book from Jasmine. There's lots of open space to colour + also a lot of intricate detail (which intimidates me quite a bit!). The paper is lovely + thick + takes acrylic paint, promarkers, gel pens + colouring pencils well. Images are one-sided but you should place a couple of pieces of thin card behind the image you're colouring to protect the rest of the book.

Another gorgeous fantasy book to add to the collection. Never disappointed with any of her work. It's quality and quantity and you don't get that much these days. In my opinion it's a must buy

Al igual que los otros dos libros de esta autora, sus imagenes tienen un estilo unico y original que pocas pintoras poseen. El papel es de buena calidad (con tonalidad beige) aunque no tan grueso como para usar acuarela o plumon. Muy recomendable para quien gusta de ilustrar rostros.
