Grip Puppy

To clear any pre- buy questions about Big Paw Grip Puppy. Installed on 2019 Harley Davidson Limited. Limited has factory heated hand grips. Did not have to cut or trim. Fit perfectly. Used small amount of diluted dish soap, warmed grips on bike and grip puppy's with hair dryer. A little effort but went on without too much effort.I have regular hand size, palm width 9in. Reg- large. Thickness of controls comfortable. I always ride with finger less leather riding gloves, or full cover gloves when cooler riding. Heated grips work as designed. Will keep factory rubber grips from wearing out.Great product.

I was prepping for the Daytona Rally run last month and ordered these. The premise was that the extra cushioning would cut down numbness and such in the rider's hands. I broke my wrist when I was younger and my right throttle hand goes numb pretty quickly unfortunately. ANYTHING I can do to delay or prevent that is a plus.First trick was getting them on though. Read MANY "Here's how I did it" things. Did the hot water, tried the dish soap. What a pain in the "you know where." DO THE AIR COMPRESSOR METHOD. I fought and fought before I broke out the compressor thinking that it couldn't be that hard. It was.Pinched the end of the grip around the tip of the air gun, gave a little blast and it was about halfway on in a split second. Had to fidget with it a bit keeping the air blast in there enough to balloon it up to move on further. Still took some effort and fidgeting, but yeah, that was the absolute best way. It is tougher as you get it nearly on as it's almost impossible to pinch the end around the air gun nozzle. It will eventually get there though. Might have tried a longer needle tip to get further inside the nozzle. Don't HAVE one, but I bet that might be the trick.Did it work AFTER I got it on? Yes. My right hand often goes numb in just a few minutes without flexing it around. I have a feeling that the extra circumference on the grip as well as the cushioning was a huge improvement for me. Was able to ride pretty happily for much longer without having to shake out that hand. They're staying on!As well, as in the pics, I was able to add the throttle control back over the top of the grip. ALSO took a little fidgeting, but it's on, works great. SUPER HAPPY with my setup now.

These grips are a perfect fit for my Honda Goldwing. They were easy to put on too; took me about 10minutes from start to finish. I let them soak in soapy water for about 5 minutes, I applied a little dishwashing soap on the handlebar grips, and I slid them on (no tools needed). It was that easy. They are an exact fit in length and width. The original Goldwing grips are just a bit too small for my hands and after riding for a few hours my hands begin to cramp. These Grip Puppies add girth to the grips, are soft, absorb the vibrations, and allows the heat on the grips to come through. PERFECT.

So, putting them on was painless. Need a small bit of double sided tape at the ends to keep them from sliding around. Sure made difference in comfort. Now doesn't feel like I'm gripping a child's handlebar. Reduces fatigue on my longer commutes.

not easy to put on but once on it will not slip. more comfortable then the hard grip that come on the bike. The bigger grip makes less hand fatigue.

Was looking for a solution to prolonged vibration at high rpms on the interstate, and though these appear to be simple solution they are very effective as well. Have had them on my bike for two long trips both close to or a little over 1000 miles each and these performed beautifully. No numbness, no slippage or affect on performance. The only struggle was getting them on. I opted not to cut them since they could extend the length of my stock grips (2018 Honda shadow Aero 750). it would be nice if they included instructions on the methods you could use to install them however youtube provides many possibilities from compressed air, to soapy water. The Foam is very durable. I was concerned about ripping it while trying to get it on but as long as you don't use any pointed objects, it can handle the pulling and tugging to get it over the grips. I used zip ties along the length as separators in-between the foam and the grip as I installed. You can cut these grips down to smaller size if you need to, but I would take my time so you have an even clean edge. If you have a need to remove them , it's very easy to just roll them back off the end of the grip, no damage done to the puppies or your grip. My cramp buster also fits over the foam grip no problem. Great product and does the job.

Absolutely outstanding product. Ridiculously easy to install. Has completely eliminated numbness in my hands on both a Triumph Black Bobber & a Suzuki Burgman. Will Order again for Harley Night Train, a Vespa & a Giant MTB 😄 They ARE that Good! Use the bubbles from some water & dish soap & be relatively gentle even though these are pretty tough, wind them on gradually, don't cut them, there is zero need to, they squoosh into the size you need, basically you just mould them to fit any length space! They will make your grips larger! I don't ride with a death grip on the bars so i rest my hands on these mostly with two fingers on the brakes, clutch, whatever. The fact that your hands will never slide a millimetre makes up for any increase in diameter. Buy them, they work very, very well!

On my second set in two years. First set tore after one, well inside 2 year warranty window. Wrote the company and asked them to honor warranty, but no reply. But liked them enough on my Royal Star Venture to get a 2nd pair of "name brand" ones. Knock-offs are half the price, but experience often shows "you get what you pay for". $20 bucks was not a bad price. The RSV grips are plain, and narrow, too. These Grip Puppy's do expand them another 1/8 inch or so, and are easier on the hand. I'm not a big guy with big hands, but these are about perfect.
