This is a great little Nylon T Head Leather Tool! I attached some pics and I also weighed it. It weighs exactly 498 grams = 1.0979 lbs = 17.5664 oz. It works great! Even my husband said it has some nice heft to the head of it. I purchased it for some of my heavier leather projects, but I can see this will be used for more than that. It measures approx. 6.5" L x 3 3/8" W and the head is 1 7/8" in diameter. The handle at the widest point is about 27mm thick and the handle itself, measures 4 1/2" long approx. I also love that it stands on its head! I hope this helps.

I started wood working carving and needed a mallet to chisel with. This product made it a lot easier than pushing the chisels with the back of my hand. The mallet is worth the price and definitely a must-have for any crafters or woodworkers. It’s sturdy and durable enough to use. Have not had any problems yet with it as it gets the job done. My only complaint is it would be more comfortable if it had a rubber grip of some sort on the handle.. the wood part gets tiresome to hold after working on projects for a good bit. But, nothing that would affect the quality of getting the job done.

A great buy compared to the high priced mallets. The balance was a little off for me so I covered the handle with a rubber grip. It has a solid feel when using it to tool leather and installing snaps. You can't go wrong buying one to add to your leather craft tools. I attended a leather tooling class and folks admired my mallet and wanted to know where I purchased it.

I've been using this for almost three months and it's working great for me. I haven't used it to punch holes because I have different tool for that so mostly just stamps and basic tooling with this and it works great, no chips no cracks. Great value I'd buy it again from what I see so far.

Wow - this mallet is awesome! I love the look and feel. The handle is super smooth and fits perfectly in my hand while the head of the mallet is strong and solid. It not only looks really nice, it has a great weight behind it... definitely does not feel cheap. I highly recommend this tool for any leatherworker.

I have not used it yet. It does, however, seem well made and certainly has a nice price compared to some others. We will see how it survives the beating I will administer over the next few months/years.

Received this maul as a replacement for a wooden mallet that initially came in a starter kit. What a difference! What was taking minutes with the wooden mallet now takes seconds with this ~16oz maul. And, much less effort. Definitely recommend this product.

I was looking for a mallet for leather working, but the ones sold at Tandy were very pricy. Saw this listed for much lower so thought I would try one out. Nice balance, heavy enough to work well for stamping leather, and seems to be holding up well. Highly recommend for your leatherworking needs.

For the price, this is a great entry level maul for leather tooling. It’s the perfect weight, and you can easily control your strikes for consistency.

This maul is perfect for my rivet work, I use it to punch the holes with my hole punch. It feels great in my hand and makes the work effortless.

This is one nice hammer , I have a more expensive hammer and it has been retired to the back of the work bench .

This hammer is fine. My only problem with it is that it requires constant tightening.
