Terrible warranty policy
I loved this blowdryer but shortly after I purchased it the low speed setting seemed to burn out. Warranty policy is - you pay to ship to back, are without a blowdryer while they assess and either repair or replace. This should not happen for a $100.00 and will cost you even more in the long run. I regret this purchase and would not recommend Rusk.

This dryer WAS my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. However
This dryer WAS my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. However, last week, it blew up in my hands. Literally, an explosion--I saw red and was burned. I have to say, it was the most shocking explosion I've ever experienced at my head. Happy New Year. Now, I'm lost and have no idea what blow dryer to get...

DRY AF
This is the best hair drier. If you're looking for a hair drier, you should buy this one.I've used a lot of hair driers; among other things I travel a lot for work (well, ok, I did before COVID) and have experienced a wide cross section of the market in various hotels. I got this one having extensively googled for the best available. This model popped up in a few different rundowns, but the one that got me was Wirecutter. They're my overall favorite product reviewers anyway, and it had the ring of truth when they said basically "near as we can tell the only things that matter are airspeed, temperature and weight." This had the highest airspeed and temperature coupled with low weight and good overall ergonomics, so they rated it the best. Having now used it a few months, I concur. It's much lighter than typical, and "hot" is as hot as any drier I've used. It also has warm, cool, and cold as well as lower speeds. The result is that it is very easy to use and fast. I mean FAST. Shockingly fast.So that's that. Unless you just can't get over how cool that Dyson is and you're willing to part with $400 (and look, no judgment, I came close) you should just go ahead and buy this.

Okay for 16 months, until the burning smell started
I’ve used this dryer regularly for the 16 months I’ve owned it, mostly with the diffuser attachment. The drying power seemed fine and it was definitely lightweight.Unfortunately, I was frustrated by how hot the barrel and attachment would get during use — this made it impossible to switch or remove attachments without blowing cool air first. The attachments connect magnetically and it doesn’t take much to dislodge them during use. More importantly, though, the dryer has just started putting out a strong burning smell when it’s set to the high speed. Since it doesn’t happen at the lower speeds (even on high heat) and I can’t see anything that could be caught in the barrel, I’m assuming it’s a motor issue. Time to try a different brand!

Worth the money
This is by far the most expensive hairdryer I’ve ever owned and I’m shocked to say it is totally worth it.It is lightweight, powerful, and very adjustable. I have thick, long, wavy hair so I use the diffuser and do a bit of hot, then some warm, then some cool. (Hot may be too hot if you have fine, straight hair and aren’t using the diffuser.) It takes less time, doesn’t give me an arm cramp like my giant heavy old one, and my hair looks way better. Friends and coworkers are coming out of the woodwork to compliment me and ask what I’m doing differently with my hair. (It’s a little weird but nice!) Everyone is as surprised as I am that a hairdryer can make such a big difference.

a little bit of false advertising
It advertises 7 heat or fan speeds, but what it has is only 3 heat and 3 fan and the cool shot. I suppose they could have said 14 or 21, etc. heat or cool settings, depending on how far you held the dryer from your head. It has a long cord, seems well built and is very quiet on low. One of the heat settings is called cool, which actually does throw out heat. I suppose the same person who labeled low as cool also thought it had 7 heat or fan settings. If I had to do it again, I'd just go to a beauty shop and get one they had they thought was high quality and spend $50. dollars less.

Failed after 2 years
Catastrophically failed (smoked) 6 months after the warranty period. So much for a $100 dryer. Don’t recommend for the money.

this dryer is good for the consumer but not for a professional IMO
$100 is quite expensive for the quality of this dryer, i love it, but it cannot handle being used multiple times a day, the motor burns out. if it gets used just once a day it could last years. As a professional i love how lightweight and quiet it is, also it gets very hot controlled heat which cuts down on drying time. it either needs a better warranty, or a much cheaper price IMO

Good value
The dryer gives good value for the price. It's light enough to hold and manipulate for extended periods of time. It provides good amount of control with the button settings, and the buttons are in appropriate places, making it easy to switch through modes while drying. This is especially true for blue cooling override which is in an ergonomic spot. On the negative side, the handle is a bit shorter, so you'll be forced to grip around the buttons. I've never switched a button because of that though. The motor is rather quiet – as with any fan, the majority of noise is a result of rushing air. Overall, I'd say the level of noise is intermediate. It's also powerful enough to provide appropriate heat and airflow for quick drying. All in all, does what it's supposed to do, and does it as good as any pricier model.

Great Hair Dryer, Couldn't Be Happier
I am so happy with this hair dryer. I've had it for a couple months now and it dries my hair so fast and yet is still so quiet and isn't whipping my hair into my face. My mom got the same one after trying mine and she has a thick full head of hair and is so happy with it - for the same reasons. It is also super light, which I did not think was going to be a big thing when I bought it.Would highly recommend this to my friends and family.

Good and quiet dryer with very long cord
Good and quiet dryer with very long cord. Don't underestimate the usefulness of a long cord. The nozzle is focused and powerful without needing the attachment.

Dead in 6 months
After 6 months this dryer stopped working. Pressing the Reset/Test buttons had no effect. I had to go to work with wet sticky hair, and had to buy a new hair dryer that day.
