Great kit came with everything that you need to replace. These install was pretty straightforward, does take quite a bit of time if you're new to it. I got a Lighted magnifying glass made the job a lot easier. They work Great! And I've used the tools for other jobs as well. Will purchase again if needed. Hopefully I don't need to do it again. 👍

before i start my review i just want to be clear if your right joystick is broken it is a very complicated fix. it requires taking apart the entire switch and unless you are experienced you are probably better off sending your switch to nintendo for fixing. (just be sure you get all your stuff off your switch before sending for repairs tho bc they might wipe the switch clean when they fix it) Now if you are trying to repair the left joystick its super easy and this kit is perfect. I've never once taken apart anything and im not very tech savvy but i had zero problems repairing my switch. I followed along with a youtube video step by step and i think it took a max of 15 minutes to complete. I used a piece of paper to label exactly where the screws came from so i wouldnt be confused and reassembling the switch was so simple i didnt even need to watch the rest of the video it was all very straight forward. so to sum up: if you are replacing the left joystick i truly believe anyone can do it and this kit comes with absolutely everything necessary. all you need is this kit and an easy to follow youtube video and youll have a working switch again. BUT if you need to replace the right joystick and you are not experienced with tech repair you would probably be better off skipping this diy kit and just going through nintendos repair service.

Easy to navigate the change of a broken joystick with this product. It’s still functioning and I couldn’t have been more pleased with this purchase.

This joystick kit came with all the parts I needed to replace broken joysticks. Take your time and be patient, there are many steps and many tiny screws. The included tools are good quality and work well. My only complaint would be the included replacement screws. They are poor quality and strip out very easily. Luckily, you do not need to use the screws. Just do not lose the originals.

Wife accidentally closed a cabinet door into my youngest's Switch that she didn't know I put on top of the fridge. It broke the joystick. This kit and about 30 minutes, and you can't even tell! Parts fit nicely and you only need the included tools.

Works well, used them when I reshelled my Switch lite.

Joysticks seem okay, but if yours is a Switch Lite then the Y Screwdriver isn’t the right size. The one this comes with is Y00, and you need a Y0 tri-wing screwdriver for the Lite version. I’ve read the regular Switch uses Y00.

The joy sticks on our Nintendo switch lite were broken & not functional. We bought this kit and now it’s back in working condition. Pros!!! The kit came with everything needed to change our joy sticks. The product itself (joysticks) are well made and they even throw in some extra protection with the little paw covers. It was easy to exchange and replace with new joy sticks. I will say the only “CON” is the screws are TINY so it’s important to do the switch on something flat and maybe over a large white pc of paper so none of the PCs/screws are lost. It was easy for us to replace but I could see it being a bit difficult if not fully prepared and using fine motor skills are hard.

If you need to replace the left broken joystick on a Nintendo Lite - the manual and the tools will help you for sure. But if the right one is broken - forget about it. The right joystick is located under the main PCB and you need to disassemble the whole Nintendo Lite. But even when you strip it apart (and not break any heatsinks or cables) - the PCB wouldn't come out. So if you need to replace either the right joystick on the Nintendo Lite or both of them - don't waste your time.

It was a good idea to bring it with the screwdrivers and the tools. i like it. very good quality

me recargué en mi mochila y por accidente le rompí la palanca izquierda y ya no podía jugar, cuando me llegó el repuesto, me gusto que venía con mas cosas de las que necesitaba para intercambiar la palanca, con un video de toutube, en cuestión de 30 minutos ya se lo había intercambiado y aproveché para limpiar el polvo y pelusa que tenía adentro, que no era poca la que tenía por cierto y también le puse las gomitas extra con las que venía que me gustaron mucho. eso sí, tube mucho cuidado de no perder ni un tornillito, y de no romper nada, si no tienes buen pulso mejor llevalo a algún lugar donde te ayuden a arreglarlo.
