Really helpful in scientific ways. Should practice more in order to enjoy every minute of learning. Nice to have that book

This book is a better summary of Marty's famous last lecture that online posted years ago. His lecture changed the way I thought about studying. HOw to do it, how to think about it, and how to succeed at it! This is one of the thinnest books I own and I've very happy to get to read it.It is a great gift for the new college student in your life. An easy, quick read, with a huge payoff!

Concise, effective and unique. Totally worth it. The fact it is focused on learning than passing exams make it ever better.

I have suggested this to some my students, so far only one took me up on it. With the way we are having to now teach, it’s going to be required reading and the students will write what they got from the reading. P.S. the one student that took me up on it, put it to practice and earned a 4.0 this past semester.

Straight to the point, simple and effective, i owe the author a big thanks. There will be no more time wasted in "studying"

The book is a summary of MR. LOBDELL'S online presentation. I was hoping it would be more detailed and and carrying more information. Overall the book is good but as for its price, it should have been priced below 8 dollars...

I liked the different concepts that were touched on and the overall message. I recommend this to anyone who’s interested in learning new concepts.

Really enjoyed the author's (Marty) YouTube lecture about Studying so I wanted to get his mini book too.A lot of the information from the video is repeated in this book but there are other nuggets of helpful information too.I've personally put his methods to the test and I've found that my understanding of concepts and my ability to recollect information has increased ten fold! I never was one for studying and wish i knew of these methods when i was at school.

This is a pretty information dense book, I only wish I had it when I was at school. The author clearly knows his subject well and I have a feeling he just scratches the surface of that knowledge.The only criticism I have is that the book is very short, I would be very pleased to read more.

This tiny litte book is brimming with all you need to know to set your studying on the right course, right from the start.Keeping the Cornell note taking and SQ3R in mind makes the reader the actual winner.Thank you Marty for all your years of service, and your great Youtube video.

So I've bought this "book" the other day, because I've watched a YT video of one of Marty Lobdell's lectures. Reading up on topics like learning is always interesting. When I've opened the package I was greeted by a comically thin pamphlet. Take a look at the photos in the gallery ;) Turns out, that this pamphlet contains half empty pages, a font that is a couple of points to large and tells you about a part of what Mr. Lobdell talked about in the video I've mentioned above. The video of the lecture covers waaaaay more and indeed interesting. And the best thing is, that it cost me 8€. It's basically a not-so-funny joke to sell the pamphlet for 8€ or to basically sell it at all, as a matter of fact.
