why do i still smell paint fumes thru the mask, when i have a good seal? and the filter box goes on only one way 90 degrees from the picture?

Hello, dear, this mask is equipped with goggles. When you wear the mask, it is completely sealed and isolates you from the paint fumes, so you will not smell the paint.

can this be used for 3d resin print? VOC and organic gases?

Yes, I've been using mine for paint spraying and absolutely nothing gets gets in, I only got a wiff the fumes and smell when I took the mask off. It's very comfortable to wear, you just need to adjust the straps until you have an air tight seal, if you hear what sounds like a faint whistle sound when you breath then you need to adjust the mask slightly until it stops. How often should the filter pads be replaced?

Not sure, they last quite a while and can be washed.
