This item is not waterproof at all, moisture and light rain penetrate the stitching on the clear cover and also around the Velcro strapping, phone damaged beyond repair company refusing to acknowledge my complaint.

I'm really very angry that this product is clearly advertised as "waterproof" (there's even an image of it being used in the rain).It is anything but waterproof - my soaking wet smartphone and usb power pack serving as evidence.To the seller: don't lie about the quality of your products.To everyone else: don't even bother buying it.

If you go out riding in the rain, it will steam up which means if you are using your phone for directions, it's pretty useless

I’m really pleased with this, arrived yesterday and went straight out on my bike. Looks smart and holds my iPhone XS in a Griffin Survivor case very securely, with a small power pack beneath with my keys etc. (Tip, use a charge cable with a 90 bend in the plug into your phone to avoid the socket being levered to the side.) It’s firm enough that even with nothing inside beneath the phone it holds its shape with the phone screen clearly visible.The touch screen works fine through the thing plastic layer. Just occasionally the plastic seemed to make the iPhone think the screen was being pressed when it wasn’t.Seams all appear well glued, I had to qualms about it being spritzed with light rain while rising and looks like it would probably cope with serious rain fairly well.It holds very securely to the handlebars, no way it’s coming off while riding or being grabbed off by someone. For me the angle was just right, very easy to see the screen.Overall very pleased, especially for the price.

Plus: Good size, touch screen works well, easy to fix, looked good on my bike.Minus: Not waterproof at all. Despite zipping up as shown on the product photo with the 2 zips away from the front end, after a showers of an hour or so there was water behind the clear plastic touch screen and the inner compartment and contents were wet.Have returned it as the product is not as described.

Firstly, I should say I returned this product because it was too large for my iPhone 8 with a battery case (which adds about 8mm at the bottom of the phone). There seemed to be too much room around each side, too and bottom. However, had my phone been bigger, I imagine it would have been excellent.I didn’t test it out in the real world but it did secure to the bike well. It was very simple to insert and remove the phone/case contents.I’m not sure I understand the plastic lip, but I’m sure there’s a justification for it. There is no designated headphone port, but you may be able to hang them out of the zip if your phone fits in the case with the headphones plugged in.A bonus feature of this case that I recognised as soon as I received a different, smaller case of the same design is that the screen on this case is slightly tacky, meaning it clings to the screen of the phone. This is useful because it improves contact between your finger and the phone, and it didn’t seem to be affected by the slightly raised edge of the case around the phone.All in all:It’s large,Fits to the bike securely,It is easy to use,The clear screen clings to the screen for good conductivity.

Allows me to play Pokemon Go while getting exercise or going places. Seems to be fairly sturdy. Attaches well (makes taking it off if you have to lock the bike up somewhere a touch fiddly!)Description says capacity is 2 litres, but it's less than that, maybe about 600 cubic cm. Just enough room to cram in about four wallets (if you're a rich person!).Final point, on my unit, the zip gets a bit "sticky" on the top corner as I bring it around. It might loosen up with more use.
