Worth the price — and believe me, there are $ 70-plus cushions out there. Their reason for this price... I don't care to know. It's ludicrous. The ComfiLife cushion is well constructed and delivers on its promises. I could feel improvement in posture and pain on DAY ONE. It's the perfect amount of firm/soft. Go for it.

My desk chair isn't the greatest and I sometimes feel lower back pain when sitting for a few hours at a time, so I bought this seat pad and am so glad I did! It adds a bit of height, which i notice helps my posture, and the gel cushion feels so nice and supportive to my hips and tailbone. When I use this seat pad, I no longer feel pain in my lower back. It's nice and large, my boyfriend and I both use it, and I even sit cross-legged on it on my chair sometimes, and it's very comfortable! It hasn't flattened at all and we've had if for almost an entire year; when you're done using it, it always puffs back up to original size and is nice and firm for next time. It's about 2'' thick which is perfect for me.

I know when we're desperately looking for pain relief context can be key, so a little about me: I've got chronic illness immune and pain issues, sciatica, several desiccated discs, bundled nerves, etc etc all through my spine but focused in my lumbar region. I also have some strange goings on with my SI joints and hips and some dysautonomia and blood flow issues. I wasn't expecting this to be a miracle worker but honestly with all that going on even a little bit is a life saver. I had recently got a new gaming chair that had mixed reviews for comfort but on a budget you work with wishful thinking some times. This chair might have indeed been comfortable for those who prefer very firm settings but I am unfortunately more of a "Princess and the Pea" type.I've given a 4 all the way down because it has definitely helped! A good little bit in general, but when I can get my ADHD/restless-ness and sitting posture to behave it works even better! I have sensory issues and the fabric the cover is made out of is soft and comfortable and does not cause me any issues. The handle is great! I will likely carry this with me to any appointments I expect to be waiting at for more than a few minutes.The reasons I didn't mark it a FULL 5 for me personally:-The gaming chair I have is quite large, so positioning it how you're 'supposed to' takes a bit of work and semi frequent readjustment (this is also partially due to the fact that I often sit in the chair crosslegged as well and frankly it still somewhat helps even then if I get it smooshed into a location that 'feels right')-I weigh about 245 and I am about 5'10, it's likely to squish for me a bit faster than the average person. (connecting to this concern is the below)-I am chronically online. AKA this poor cushion doesn't get much of a break. Given my disabilities and issues I work part time from home in the same chair as well as scrolling, gaming, and doing anything else throughout the day. I am largely glued to this bad boy, so naturally after some hours it's going to compact some and be more stiff and less squish. I don't really see this as an it problem as much as a me problem as I should be getting up to walk around a little bit periodically anyway - and upon doing that it usually returns to it's original status pretty quickly. If you're a person who will be using it only a couple hours at a time you likely won't experience this issue.All in all- for me it wasn't a miracle worker, but I would still definitely say it was worth the purchase. Comfortable! Even after hours of sitting. I just plopped it on the chair and cushion stays in place all day. Improves my posture and eliminates back fatigue and pain from sitting for long periods. I was skeptical at first the cushion appeared small and didn’t look like I thought it would. When I sat down it eased my hips and back into the proper position to sit comfortably.
