Thin paper but great basic
I've used some variation of this planner for the past few years and although the paper is rather thin (so all my favorite fancy teacher pens bleed thru), it's the most functional basic one on the market. My other main complaint is that the width of the rows in the grade book section is a little too narrow - I'd rather have it max out at 35 and be wider than go to 40 or 45 and be as skinny as they are, but I'm lucky never to have classes bigger than 30.

No monthly calendar pages
I was really looking forward to using a new academic calendar this year. I chose this one because it had enough slots for all of the sections I am teaching and the sturdy covers. I wish I had known that there weren't any monthly pages though, it's completely weekly. There are some pages that I will not be using, so I glued in monthly calendars onto those pages.

I used this type of planner/grader last year and it is amazing! Very sturdy and I love how you have your plan book and grade book in the same book. I just got this one for the upcoming school year. Very pleased with it.
