Just a little more to know before buying one of these.
Having tried a few other RV showerheads and being disappointed in all, I hesitated to purchase this Oxygenics. Now having used it, I give it five stars but with some odd ambivalence that is difficult to articulate. Not ambivalent in liking it - I wish I had bought one of these a long time ago, but more because I didn't know what to expect and other reviews I read didn't describe the experience of taking a shower with one of these.First of all, it seems everyone buys these in search of PRESSURE. And so did I. But I now know that pressure in the shower taking experience is difficult to define and very subjective. Particularly in the case of this shower head which does not produce the normal needle-like jets of water found at home that most RV shower heads try to emulate. My Oxygenics produces a rather . . . swirly. . .slobbery. . .disorganized . . . projection. . of water. It's difficult to describe and pictures don't capture what's happening. Clearly it has something to do with the mixing of air into water flow to give basically an illusion of a greater amount of water than really exists.Testing it after installation I could see that it projected water further than my stock head. And it looks like a lot of water coming out. It also worked better for rinsing the tub/shower. Intellectually I knew it was actually less water, because it's designed to use less water and other reviews here go into detail about that. But it didn't seem like less water. Then I took a shower. This is the point I came to realize that "pressure" is a difficult thing to quantify. Because of the disorganized water flow (remember, it's not "jetty" like traditional heads) the spray was reaching further, but it did not FEEL like more pressure against my skin. And then I had the disconcerting realization that although I was having an overall better shower experience, I wasn't getting wet as fast! It was particularly noticeable when I wetted & rinsed my hair and it took a little (not a lot) longer for each. By experimenting with the flow control button, I was able to choose how it sprays, from the full on blubbery spray that maximizes coverage and is normal, to a more organized single stream (picture water exiting a garden hose) and everything in between. So the actual experience of taking a shower with this Oxygenics is a little different from more traditional shower heads. Not bad, just different. It occurs to me that this may sound more like a negative review, rather than a 5-star review. It isn't. Overall this is the best RV shower head I've ever used. I just wanted to add a little substance to what it actually means to USE this showerhead rather than the many reviews that say little more than "5 Stars, Great Pressure!"

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
We heard about this nearly one 6 months before I bought it. My wife and I were skeptical as to how good it could be. Well color us Believers! Finally after 10 years of RVing we can have a really decent shower. This is a great shower head. We use it in our Airstream trailer. RV's are notorious for their low water pressure. Our showers before consisted of trying to get wet. Just like the Body Spa our other shower head was hand held when needed, but it barely had enough pressure to spray upward when needed for the lower regions. This shower head has amazing pressure so down or up no problem. I've read some reviews that say it's noisy, I don't find it objectionable at all just kind of a white noise if you will.We dry camp frequently and now even with just the 12V water pump we can have a wonderful zesty shower. You will not be disappointed. One thing to note, because it was not in the literature that I received, the shower head has a button that cycles you between spray and drizzle. I called the company because I thought mine was broken when I first hooked it up because it did not turn the head completely off. They told me this was intentional because it keeps water temperature from rising in the head and scalding you when you turn the spray back on. This made total sense to me because my old shower head did just that. Naturally turning off the shower valve turns it off completely as you'd expect. Anyway, did I mention we LOVE this Body Spa Shower head! :-)June 29, 2015, UPDATE: We used the Oxygenics for nearly 3 months this winter and I'm very happy to report it continued to work great. When given the choice between a campground shower and our own we normally chose our own, actually the only reason we used a shower other than our own was because it was nearer a hot tub or pool we were using. For every day bathing we just preferred to use the Oxigenics. I still swear by this shower head and I'd give it 10 stars if it were possible.

Impressive pressure increase in RV shower!
This is such an improvement over the standard RV showerhead! As other reviews state, I don't know that it uses less water, it just improves the flow of it so you end up using less to rinse. It FEELS like more water, when actually it's just using air to help propel it somehow. We recently upgraded our RV and it has a spacious shower. The head was rather weak though for waterflow. We use our pump almost exclusively as we rarely are anywhere with city hookups.I use the hook that came with the stock showerhead as I didn't want to drill any more holes in the shower. The new one is too heavy to ride in the stock holder while traveling. I put it down on the floor or showerseat during transit as it fell the first time and I don't want to risk breaking the shower stall or the shower holder if it continues to happen. This showerhead does have significant weight to it, so using the holder they provide is likely the best option for long term.To install I unscrewed the stock showerhead, and screwed this one onto the existing hose. When turning off the shower at the nozzle, there is a stream of water that continues to come out. I use that to keep rinsing while I shampoo or lather. It is more waterflow when toggled "off" than the stock showerheads, though I never had any that shut off completely, this one does flow more by a considerable amount. I won't dock it though, it's such a huge improvement in pressure and rinse power that it was a worthy investment and I would recommend any RV owner to upgrade.

more pressure
This shower head is awesome. it definately puts out more pressure than the original shower head in the trailer. Just watch out for when you close the valve between rinsing. By design it lets out a dribble, and in our trailer that dribble is streight cold water, so you get a slug of cold water when you open the rinse valve. There isn't a easy way around this, but it is a problem with almost all shower heads in trailers. The increase in pressure output is nice though, as my wife says she can now actually wash the shampoo out of her hair fully (and faster) than when we had the old standard RV shower head.

It worked very well and much better than the original showerhead that came with the camper
Used this for first time on short trip. It worked very well and much better than the original showerhead that came with the camper. It uses less water as well. The beef I had with my old shower head was when using it with the on board pump. The head had low pressure coming out of it. The Oxygenics head solves this issue greatly. Highly recommended. I just mounted mine to original shower head mount but I plan to install the mount that came with the new head. It is fully adjustable and my old one is not.

Great shower head, it definitely make using the rv shower that much better.
I really liked how easy it was to install and everything was included, it would have been nice if the company could have used a slightly better grade of hose line though. The shower quality is definitely an upgrade over stock.

I'm impressed
Based on the numerous great reviews for this product we bought one to replace the OEM shower head that came with our RV.My wife and I agreed that the difference was significant. The pressure that this shower head puts out is noticeably higher than our original shower head. According to the piece of paper that came with this showerhead it also uses 10% less water than our original unit, although some of the other reviews here would seem to indicate otherwise.Following the directions of yet another review here, we put the shutoff valve at the bottom of the hose rather than the top below the showerhead. It's designed to allow a small steady stream of water to maintain the water temperature as you lather up. Some reviewers complained that locating the valve at the top resulted in the water losing its temperature. We've had no issues with water temperature with the valve at the bottom.
