Easy to Use
Good product, great value and very easy to use. This is my go to for some easy ways to remove the little greys.

Doesn't look like you dyed your hair
We get it on subscribe and save now. Use it every 4-6 weeks. It does not cover all the gray so it looks natural. It is scary when you first put it on - it looks black, but after shampooing it out it looks natural and you will look 10 years younger. Hubby wants to use it regularly. He is 73. I also put it on his beard and mustache.

Stuff works, foolproof & easy
I use this primarily to touch up sides that grey sooner than when I go back for a haircut and color. Most of my grey is at my sides and even professional colors don't seem to get it completely all the time (color resistant). So this is a nice product to touch up and refresh in between my every 5 week appointments. I find it blends in.Beyond being careful to wipe off any on your skin or being careful to not get on things that might stain, you can't mess this up. I've forgotten about it and left on my hair for a couple hours once. It was crunchy dry. I rinsed it off, hair was a little soft, but it was good to go. It really is "auto stop".The biggest criticism I have with these men's products is that they are nowhere near as color specific as women get. I have ash brown hair with no red color in it, so some of these products are the right darkness but don't blend in well because they make them more generic brown. I've experimented a shade lighter and a shade darker to compare results. The great thing about the comb-through product is that you don't have to commit. You can color a small area discretely and see how you like it before you do a full application. The stuff lasts at least a few weeks before it starts fading. Different people's hair has different ability to take color, sometimes I need two applications to get it where I want. Your mileage may vary. It's best to use after you've washed your hair, with no conditioner. Dry it, though it can still be a little damp, and then apply. The next best time to apply, and most convenient, would be 10-15 min before you shower/wash your hair. To wash out the dye, I do a double wash with color safe shampoo and some conditioner, which supposedly helps seal it.HOW TO GET MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS FROM A TUBEYou do not need to waste a whole tube on one go as the packaging indicates. The important thing to know is the chemicals in the dye react with O2 in the air in order to set the color. So IMMEDIATELY after you finish your application, squeeze the tube a little sideways (like you do with toothpaste) to try to draw the dye in the comb back into the tube to save some of that (don't obsess, you'll lose some), then unscrew the comb, and then gently squeeze the tube until the dye comes to the very top and put the lid on snuggly. Generally you want to get the air out of the tube. Air in the tube will oxidize and "use up" the dye. You'll know if you did this right because the next time you use it, the dye should be light brown in color (like it is when the tube is new). If it's dark brown/black, it's been oxidized and won't do anything (not harmful to your hair but it will fail to color it). Sometimes the dye at the very top of the tube gets oxidized, so squeeze a little out before you give up on a tube. Doing this, I get 5-7 applications from a tube, doing my sides. If I was doing my whole head, I'd probably get 2-3 applications out of each tube.Make sure to clean the comb immediately after this. Rinse the comb under warm/hot water, from both ends, to get ALL of the dye out. Don't stop until water flows freely through all comb holes and no colored water comes through. The holes are small, if you don't do this, it will dry and clog and your next application with not go well if at all. The dye cleans up from skin and most places well with rag or paper towels, especially if you get to it fresh.

Don't forget to do your eyebrows!;)
I've either been having my grey covered by my hair guy or using the Just For Men gradual grey covering shampoo. The shampoo does not do a very good job of covering my grey and I do not have much grey overall. This $9 tube of dye works amazing! I was shocked at the depth of the very realistic color. It doesn't look fake. You won't look like a ridiculous old man who box dyes his hair, provided you remember to do four easy things:1. Purchase one shade lighter than you THINK you should. I have medium dark brown hair. I purchased the medium and NOT medium dark brown. Color 35. It delivered perfect coverage.2. Perform a SECOND color one week after your first color. This will not only remove the lingering grays around your temples, but provide you with more even looking color. It also removed the slight red shine/tone that only one tube resulted in.3. Most importantly... don't forget to do your eyebrows!!! I know you might be hesitant to take this advice, but trust me! It looks ridiculous to have your brows lighter than your hair and it's a dead give away that you dye your hair.4. Wash and Condition your hair with color safe, sulfate free products. Do not use harsh Pantene or Head and Shoulders non-color safe products. If you don't, your hair will have reddish hues, the color will fade quickly and the grey will start showing prematurely. Your color should last 6-8 weeks if you use color safe shampoo and conditioner.I know that us men have a hard time deciding to dye or not dye our gray. Turning 40 a few years ago, I decided to turn back Father Time just a couple of years by using grey coverage. I am glad I did, because most people can't tell I dye my hair. I get compliments that my hair looks healthy and full.

It’s ok but not a lasting color
It says it lasts up to eight weeks until original color grows back, but that’s not true. The color fades within a few days.
