Open Mesh Upper The ASICS Endurant Running Shoes are constructed with an open mesh upper which allows airflow throughout the shoe for a cool and dry foot environment. Synthetic overlays are placed on top of the mesh to add durability and support to the shoe construction. A traditional lace closure offers a personalised and secure fitting, whilst the padded tongue and collar enhance step-in comfort, reducing the risk of irritation and discomfort. Completing the upper is the protective toe cap which helps shield your feet against any sharp or loose rocks you might encounter on the trails. Full-Length Foam Unit A cushioned insole lines the midsole which conforms to the shape of the foot for a comfortable, step-in feel. Additional cushioning comes from the full-length foam unit which attenuates impact during the landing phase of the gait cycle and lifts the foot back up with responsive energy. Rubber Outsole Finishing off the Endurant is a rubber outsole which supplies reliable and durable grip. Its flex grooves and diamond-shaped mini-trenches work to support the natural flexion of the foot as it transitions through the gait cycle.
