Comfortable, smoothing, and invisible under clothes. The Spanks everyday shaping thong gives light tummy control without digging in or rolling down- perfect for every day wear under fitted outfits and worth the price, but I typically wear these under a tighter dress, or even leggings for tummy control. I just purchased my second pair. These hold up and are a necessity to help with bloating.

Comfortable to wear even for every day use, but works well for special occasion dressware. Could size down for extra tightening support and longer lasting elasticity. Seems to loosen after a few uses but has a seamless look. No lumps and bumps.

I ordered these for the everyday aspect. I like the fact that they are like underwear and do not show panty lines as well as the fact that they are a mid rise - not too high, not too low. They are soft material and comfortable, not restricting around the legs either. On the down side, I was expecting slightly more support. They really don't do anything as far as holding in my lower belly. I like to wear higher waisted pants so I thought these would be nice for smoothing out that lower belly area that can occasionally look awkward or puffy in high waisted pants. Unfortunately this did not get the job done so they are basically high waisted underwear that are fitted. Nice but do not serve a purpose. Potentially could order a size smaller but I fear that would be uncomfortable.

I have terrible hip dips and these hide them without being ugly grandma panties. I wear spanx EVERYDAY and love how secure they make me feel. They make my booty pop a little too. BEST UNDERWEAR EVER.

I have multiple pairs of old Spanx in size L. This purchase was an expensive, total fail. The elastic edging/cuff of each leg is UNBELIEVEABLY tight, so legs ended up looking like over-stuffed sausages, and these tight bands nearly cut off all circulation (could not wear for more than an hour). So the only "shape" created was a highly unflattering and uncomfortable one - I genuinely don't think sizing up would make a difference. And finally, the fabric is synthetic and rough - not suitable for panties! NOT RECOMMENDED.

The BEST! I’ve tried cheaper off brand pairs, and nothing compares to these. They are 100% worth the buy! They hold your stomach in, help you feel more confident and comfortable in any outfit, and are great quality. Highly recommend!

HIGHLY recommend this Spanx! I wear them under all of my dresses and sometimes even my rompers. Great suction.

These are pretty good! They do say level 2 compression, which is medium, and I tend to agree. I wouldn’t have minded a tiny bit more, but there don’t seem to be a level 3 option in this style. Still better than other compression underwear I’ve bought. So I am 5’5”, 126lb, 26” waist, 36” hips. I got the extra small as many said to size down, and the sizing description showed XS as fitting up to 26.5”. I’m fairly petite, but I do also have 22-23% body fat and a bit of a mom pooch. I bought these to wear with a high waisted skirt that did accentuate the lower pooch and made me look early stages pregnant, and these underwear work well to hide that. If I could have bought an XXS I would have, I think a size down is really the way to go if you want the tighter compression. I think the people who have complained about the tight fit likely carry more weight in the belly, whereas I carry mine in the butt and legs. If you have a smaller waist and a lower ponch, size down. If you’re more of an apple body and carry the weight in the middle, true to size or size up depending. I found the size chart to be accurate!
