I bought this because it had a clear "chin" area as well as a clear forehead area.I intended to use it while grinding metal to prevent sparks/particles from scratching my glasses (or my face.)However the face shield part is quite flimsy, in comparison to the other face shields I've purchased. It reminds me of those clear report covers you use to use in grade school. So far it has deflected some sparks (one session) but I don't know how well it will work long term.

I have trigeminal neuralgia. I use this to protect my face from wind and wrap a scarf around it to keep my face warm in winter. It has helped tremendously. It would be better if it weighed less and maybe had some extremely tiny holes for breathing (holes too small for wind) to get through; however, it works well as is for my purposes. Please keep making these. They clearly have uses outside of industry. Thank you for helping me manage this devastating neurological condition.

Great product. I bought it to cover my face when scraping the popcorn ceilings in my house. If you do use the mask for this purpose, you should also use a surgical mask or something of that nature to filter your breathing.

I use this while working on a lathe turning wood or acrylics for pens and it performs beautifully!

Great for grinding. Attached perfectly to a spare hard hat that I have. I dont want it on my every day hard hat but if I know I’m going to be cutting or grinding I’ll just use it. Seems a bit awkward and heavy to keep on for every day use.

The shield's adjustments/fit are fully customizable. It is much more comfortable than it looks. Yes, there is a lot of plastic, but with proper adjustments the shield can be worn comfortably for hours.
