looks great! on the picture. That's because the model wearing the hat didn't have it shipped in a small bag. When I opened the small plastic envelope I found the hat folded into quarters and I'm pretty sure a fat elephant was sitting on it from China all the way to my house. The creases in the brim were indeed permanent. No Instructions for care were included. No tag to let me know if the material might give me an allergic reaction. The only writing on the hat and inside the shipping bag was "Made In China." I'm returning the hat.

Caution: Highly floppy hat. None of the rigidity suggested by the official photo. Flops down like a wet rag. Keeps the sun off but let’s hope nobody sees me in it.

Nice, lightweight hat, with a wider than usual brim for more sun protection. Adjustable head band and chin strap. The removable top flap is a really nice feature so you can choose between rain protection and warmth or coolness and air flow. I posted a pic with the cover on and one with the cover removed.It does come folded and creased, but so does every other similar hat your order (I know because I ordered three other brands to try). The creases came out beautifully with some steaming. Should definitely not be a deal breaker.The sizing is a little inconsistent. I ordered the light gray and the khaki. The light gray was too tight for my husband's 23" noggin, but the khaki was a bit looser and fit him well. A word of caution if you have a larger head. If you have a small head, you may find the 'bucket' of the hat to be a bit loose/baggy, even if you adjust the strap to make the band fit snugly.All in all, I'd really recommend this hat if you're looking for a lightweight, crushable, quick-drying hat with good protection. Removable top flap is a big bonus feature.

I took it out for 5 hours super sunny day kayaking trip to try and i was very pleased, i was not hot, it was light and comfortable, i have a rather large head (23in) and it fit just right. not too big not too small. Also day was windy and the secure strip worked perfect to not loose it on a water. and i like how stylish it looks when you clip the sides to the top of the head so it looks like cowboy hat :)

The hat is great. I like the design and materia,l but whoever the hell packaged this is an idiot. The brim is folded into four quarters and you never bend the brim of a hat since that can not be flattened out and nor are they meant to be bent. So I’ll be fighting with the hat as it tries to fold in on my head while wearing it and won’t function properly to keep the sun out. Also who the hell wants to fight with their hat when wearing it? The packaging is terrible. I do not recommend.

Exathe product came folded down to a size that would fit in a 6x8 mailer. There are creases in the brim that make the hat fit funny. I have washed it and let it dry naturally and still have creases. Maybe rolling the hat and using a tube as a mailer would benefit the customer more.

Better quality than I expected for the money. I have a rather large head (23") and sometimes have trouble finding hats that fit. But this hat fits me well with even a little room to spare. As pictured, it has a VERY WIDE (almost comically wide) brim so don't be surprised if your friends have a laugh at your expense. A small price to pay to keep your face and neck totally shaded from the sun.
