Really Great all Around Product
Overall this was really a terrific purchase. We were in the market for new beach chairs and when I came across these, I was really intrigued. I like the idea of having something that functioned more as a lounge chair then a regular chair and I liked how this was lightweight in nature. What I quickly came to realize was all those years that I have been sitting on the beach on a towel with nothing to support my back are now over.Pros:This is an excellent productIt is lightweight, easy to carry with the backpack straps or carry handleVery compact for travelingVery comfortableNice storage pocket to keep my phone, keys, water, magazine, etcAdjustable backrest for more upright or reclined positioningPacific Breeze is really a top notch company, I had a question when I was deciding on the product and I was easily able to get a representative on the phone to talk to me about the product.Cons:Haven’t come up with any yetThis is a great alternative to a beach chair and much better than a beach blanket, definitely get yourself one. I am going to buy a second set for my kids.

Loved Turned Disappointment!
I really loved these chairs in the beginning, but they rusted after only 2 days at the beach. What we loved: We did a back country beach camping trip & had to hike a trail in the sand over some mountain sized dunes to get to the beach. These chairs were so light we barely noticed we were carrying them on our backs. Love that they are tall enough to rest your head on (a hard thing to find, but really important for all day beach comfort) They were never submerged in water other than a quick fresh water rinse after the first day. They dried quickly, but by day 2 the screws were already rusting. So frustrating! We looked so long and hard to find the perfect beach chairs (we live in Florida) and thought we had found the perfect ones, but... :(

These pads are more practical for actual beach use than steel-framed beach chairs with thin fabrics
You will find that most people still lug around steel-frame beach chairs. These things have existed since time immemorial, and they aren’t really all that comfortable to sit on, for extended periods of time. Vendors continue to add bells and whistles to this fossil technology. You’ll find drink holders, embedded ice coolers and attached canopies. These, as far as I can see, only make life more difficult for beachgoers who must carry these heavy chairs on their back, or drag them across sand. After extensive research before my recent trip to the beach, I decided to buy the Pacific Breeze Beach Lounger. The first picture shows the lounger doing double duty as a runway for my sailplane. These pads are large and comfortable. They fold into a compact mass and fit perfectly in the beach wagon. They are very light, even thought they come with strong steel back support. The steel support is cleverly surrounded by folded pads, such that if you carry the lounge on the back as a backpack, it still feels comfortable. The last picture shows the lounger inside the Sand & Surf Beach Shelter from the same manufacturer. I actually came across this lounger product page when I was researching for a beach tent. I liked the large shelter from Pacific Breeze. And that product page linked to this one which piqued my interest. The rest is history.

WARNING
I am not one to write a bad review on something I haven't even opened or used yet. But I feel I need to. I was on a boat a saw these people using theses. I loved them so that day I ordered them. Then I read the warning label saying contains materials that cause cancer. No thank you. I am sending them back.

The Best
I have been searching for the best beach chair for 3 years. This is it. You can put 2 over your back they are so lights. I like them better than my Tommy Bahama Chairs which have a bar under your butt which becomes uncomfortable after a while. There are straps on the backs so you can angle the back in a way that you wants.

These are awesome they are much bigger than I thought but light ...
These are awesome they are much bigger than I thought but light weight and the straps to carry like a book bag are super duper helpful. Also easy to clean DEF 5 stars as we go to the beach ALL the time.

Great idea but could be improved upon.
I think the idea of this type of beach chair is very practical. I like that it folds into a backpack for carrying and the pouch on the back for "hidden" storage. However, I feel that the gap in the cushions where the back meets the "seat" is very noticeable and uncomfortable for me (I actually feel like my bottom is going numb after a few minutes). I'm hoping with use, maybe the cushions will spread some and the groove won't be so noticeable. Also, I find carrying it as a backpack pretty uncomfortable; I'm assuming it just doesn't work so well on someone with a small frame (for reference, I'm 5'2 and petite). It feels like the straps are pulling my arms open at the shoulder because the chair is so wide (being wide is of course a bonus once you're sitting on it!). As long as the walk between the car and final set-up spot isn't too far, the discomfort will be tolerable. The main thing that I find disappointing is you can't really make the chair flat to lay on your stomach and read. By all means you can unprop the back and lay on it but, the rod from the support will cause issues. Lastly, one of the chairs did arrive a little dirty, I'm assuming the marks are grease from production or packaging.
