Jack Wolfskin Men's Greenland Jacket

The product appears to be very well-made and exactly like the product description, however, it is clearly not a 3X. I vary between a 2X and 3X (big not tall) for jackets due to size discrepancies. The fit on this inaccurately sized 3X is tighter than my 2X Marmot down jacket. I ended up buying a 3X Columbia down jacket which actually is a tad bit too big, but I am keeping the Columbia. I had to send the Greenland jacket back for a refund. Be aware of this issue if you are ordering a big size/I highly compliment Amazon for its return policy. I repacked the jacket in the bag and box it was shipped in, printed a free return label, and before I got back home after dropping the box off at the local UPS store, my account had already been credited for the full purchase price. Five stars to Amazon.

What a great deal on a really nice jacket. I think I got it at an introductory price, but I do really love the jacket and appreciate its quality. I read a few people say the jacket might be "too warm"- but that is not my experience in central WI. I wish it was a little warmer. It is not on par with a parka or a heavier down jacket like the Cabelas Casper Range. So I layer when I need it which is not very often. As a hunting Jacket or for longer hikes in cold weather, layering works. This makes this an every day jacket for ranges down to -5 for me for "getting around town", and good to about 10 for sustained, non-athletic exposure.A super all around jacket. Also, I love the hood. I have a more expensive Columbia jacket very much like it , and I take this jacket for the reason of the hood. It cuts the wind great and leaves me with a hat even if I didn't think I needed one, or it adds to a small beanie for complete warmth.

Great jacket and fits true to size.

Great style and functional. Very lite and not bulky at all. Be warned, it will keep you toasty on bitter cold days, but when you get in your vehicle, you may have to remove it.

Light and warm. I ordered two, one for my son and one for me.

I wear medium size so I got one size larger and it fits perfectly. I work in a 0 to -10 degree freezer for long amounts of time, this jacket has nothing but praise from me. The freezer also blows cold air at you and I can't feel it when I'm wearing this. The detachable hood is a nice touch because my work doesn't allow hoods on jackets so I can wear a heavy duty jacket while keeping dress code. The jacket isn't bulky and keeps you warmer than you'd expect while being versatile and not overheating you once you leave the cold. On a not so important note, it looks great. Never thought I'd say this but it's a sharp looking puffy jacket. Highly recommend for anywhere from -10 to 40 degree weather.

This a quality jacket. It fits well and keeps you warm. The collar has a nice warm feeling liner. I like how the hood is independent from the collar. The collar stays firm and upright when it's not fully zipped up. Even when fully zipped, the collar doesn't create a sloppy turkey neck fold onto itself while the hood is down. Most down jackets have the hood integrated with the collar. The only way those hood-integrated jackets have a neat looking collar is when you have the hood over your head. When the hood is down, the front of the collar bunches up and ends up looking like a turkey neck.

Habe mir die Jacke als !Angebot in XL bestellt. Die Ärmel sind mir viel zu lang. Desweiteten finde ich die Wärme Isolierung viel zu gering. Bei 5 grad Aussentemperatur hab ich gefroren.Habe die Jacke wieder zurückgeschickt. 50 Euro mehr und man bekommt eine hochwertige J.W. Daunen steppjacke. Schade.

Amazing Jacket! In fact the warmest coat I've ever had! I'm 6ft 3" and a 44" chest and it fits me a treat. Great value!!!
