Well made and strong
Well made and perfect. A welcome accessory that’s easy to keep track of in my shirt or pants pocket. I was always misplacing my pencil but with this it’s so easy to return it to the holster so I always know where it is. I love the fact that it can mark through deep holes. And, the lead is robust so the point doesn’t easily break off under pressure. The onboard sharpener is a huge plus.

Handier than I expected
I bought this on a whim, and I’m so glad I did. I have not broken a lead yet (the reason I gave up on mechanical pencils in general) and I doubt I will. It works great as a general marking pencil and the holder fit nicely in both my tool belt and pocket. I have especially found the narrow long barrel and ability to extend the lead out to be surprisingly useful for marking thru existing holes… I have immediately forgotten what I did before. Great product, I recommend.

Good Quality
Good quality as advertised, It came with lots of extra lead, and when I have to drill a small diameter hole through a 2x4, the lead is long enough to reach through to the other side so that I can mark the substrate as needed.

Good carpenter pencil
Great pencil so far, went from pica to this and I prefer this one.

like it better then pica brand. stays put and does not fall out of the holder. dureable and easy to use. fine for carpentry. ill buy some more

Works well so far but no yellow leads- comes with 6 black leads.
Description is not correct. The 6 spare leads are ALL BLACK-there are no yellow leads. Lowered rating 1 star because of this. Form and function seem to work well. I would suggest that the 6 spare leads be changed to 3 black leads, 1 yellow lead, 1 red lead, and 1 silver (welding) lead. This would make this truly great pencil without having to shop for alternative colored leads.

Accurate
More accurate marks than the wood carpenter pencils.

I love it.
I've used these type of pencils for quite a while and they all work great no matter which brand you buy. But I really like this one better than some of the others because the sharpener placement. It's located on the clip so it's accessable without having to pull the sheath out of my bags. And I very much like the lead carrier. But I did notice the sheath isn't quite deep enough. I kept breaking my leads off so I ended up drilling a small hole in the bottom of the sheath just big enough for the sharp tip of the lead to go down into sonit wasn't always broken.

These are great. A must have in your tool bag. Well made with a quality feel. Easy to use and overall good value for money. Far better than the cheaper alternatives. Handy sharpener factored into the design. I work as a facilities technician and have several of these now.

Bought for my boyfriend and it is now one of his favorite tools. He wishes he had it long before now. Fits nicely in his tool belt and the sharpener in the holder is convenient. Leads last a long time before needing to be replaced
