Adult Heist 2 Bicycle

I bought this bike to help cross train for a tough mudder race, I’m about 6 foot flat and the large fits great. I really wanted to go for a hybrid because I live by a trail network of dirt paths, but was nervous that it would be too sluggish for road riding as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the pick up this bike has and the tires were perfect for little off road excursions. The fork up front has a little give when hitting obstacles and makes the ride more comfortable on more beat up roads. The thing I was most impressed with was going from old school V brakes to a hydraulic disc brake system, it really does give you confidence when you are working against the weather.There was a little set up involved with the bike at first and I could tackle it on my own, but I had one of my friends who rides more than I do help me out and for him it was a piece of cake.All in all, I am on my tenth ride with this guy and the shifting and brakes remains consistently awesome. I have always heard Shimano is the way to go when you are looking for quality bike parts, and this seems to be true, the shifting is responsive, quick and smooth.
