They work beautifully to put as much or as little on the food as you wish. Cleanup is easy. Tha handle lengths fit their tasks well. So, I find them versatile, with perfect bristles.

I used to use the wood brushes for busting and cooking. Those rusted out and got nasty. So I bought these and now I won't buy anything else. They wash well, work in high heat. Great price for them.
