After taking glucosamine with Chondroitin 1500mg I was in serious trouble. I did 1 salt enema two days in a row, and a coffee enema on the third day in the morning -- nothing softened the stools and it was distressing. The same day that I did the coffee enema I took 4 Dulcolax chews around lunch and drank at least 32 oz of water with it. That evening I finally had a BM. It was soft and gentle. No cramps. No urgency. Without needing to take more chews, the positive gentle BMs has lasted for the past 4 days. I'm so grateful!!!! The only tip I would give is -- if you think you have to pass gas, do it on the toilet. The Dulcolax chews are so gentle on my system that there were 3 times that I didn't even know that I needed to have a BM, and I was glad that I had decided to sit on the toilet. The flavor is fine -- not yummy, not bad. The texture is a tiny bit gritty, but manageable. I appreciate that each one is wrapped individually. This formula is the best laxative I have ever tried. I picked these up before a long trip to Italy because I tend to get a little travel-sluggish in the digestion department. I figured these Dulcolax Soft Chews would be an easy, gentle solution. The mixed-berry flavor is surprisingly pleasant, and they’re very easy to pack — no bottles or powders, just a few chews tucked in a travel bag. I took them expecting quick relief (the label says “may work within 30 minutes”), but for me, it took closer to a full day before anything really happened. If you’re traveling, I’d recommend starting with a single chew earlier — maybe even on your flight — to give your body time to adjust. When they did start working, the effect was intense but effective. I probably overdid it by taking the full dosage at once since I didn’t feel anything initially. Lesson learned — start slow. Overall, these definitely do the job, just not as quickly or gently as I expected. I’d give them 4 stars for reliability but caution anyone to plan ahead timing-wise. Personally, I’ll still keep them on hand for emergencies, but I’ll stick to my usual coffee and abdominal massage routine first next time.

I deal with constipation daily because of the medicines I take. While I use Mylanta and a bedtime laxative, I have found this to be a God-send when my regimen is not working well. I chew one or two about 11 am and it works! It tastes great too.

Works quickly so don't leave the house for awhile but I did have some cramping!

While this product does work, for me it took 17 hours before it kicked in. The product advertises it can take as little as 30 minutes to 6 hours to work. I was more than double the average time frame. I know that everybody's body works different, but I was expecting a little bit better results than what I got. I took the full dose of four chews and drank plenty of fluids. I will be looking for something that works a bit quicker than what this product did for me.

I take iron pills and these gummies don’t give me cramps. Which is a biggie for me. The taste is great, and works like a charm. I will continue buying these!!
