It blows air so that part is correct. I knew it wasn't going to be the greatest, but I did expect for it to blow cold air. Even if I use very cold ice water it is barely cool. However I need something to use right now. Maybe it's that I'm in a warm room, this might be cooler in a house versus a shed but even during the evening time it was not very cold. I hope that this product happened to be one of the bad ones you get here and there. For the price it is, you kind of get what you pay for however it's not as advertised.

At first, wasn’t overly impressed tho did buy more to see if WOULD work. Our swamp cooler is very old & barely reaches bedrooms; my room gets sweltering. The noise level seemed loud when first used. Waking up in middle of night in a sweat, little machine didn't seem loud at all. It holds more water than would anticipate. Only criticism have is, the level of water is tricky to see. Water lasted all night, kept me surprisingly cool.

Somewhat decent. Works as advertised, except high-speed skips probably because of a short in the wiring. The LED effects are negligible and hardly luminescent. Easy to use, however, it really needs ice water to be effective. Normal temperature tap water won't suffice.

This is a typical mini air cooler, it has a high speed van that blows onto a wet filter. This product is definitely not leak proof. It is easy to accidentally overfill since the filling gauge is hard to see, and when you do overfill it, water will come pouring out of the vents.Also the noise the fan makes can be annoying. Not sure how this product has a perfect rating, but after reading some reviews I noticed that most of them are about vegan cheese.

Blows air but it wasn’t very cold even with ice cubes. To be fair we were trying to use it on our patio in Arizona. It’s hard to compete with this Arizona heat.

I actually haven't had any problems with this product and I use it several times a day. My only complaint is that in order to see the water level, I have to use a flashlight. And really, the lights you can only see if you look inside of it. It is cheaply made but seems to do the trick when I need a little bit cooler air.

UPDATE: I figured out that it is in fact possible to read the water level indicator: you have to remove the interior filter first, because part of it blocks the window. Brilliant design. But more importantly, after just over a week of use, the unit will no longer power on. Don't bother with this air conditioner, get one of the other similar models available on Amazon. They're probably cheaper and work better.My original review:It works well, but it is completely impossible to tell what the water level is. There is a window at the bottom that shows the level in the water tank, but it's impossible to actually be able to see anything. Be careful when filling it, if you overfill water WILL spill out of the fan.

Perfect for desk use, but you really have to sit right in front of it to feel its effect.
