I've used these cores to wind baluns and ununs for making various antennas. They're also large enough to wind RG-58 coax around several turn to create an RF choke. I can recommend these to any radio amateur.

I made 49:1 transformers out of two of these, and one was used to make a choke. They tested fine once they were wound, and give the expected result with an EFHW. I will buy again as needed.
