This mat would have been great other than two issues. The first being that it has these rubber edges that attract filth like nothing else, static I guess, and are sort of semi-rubbery-sticky so you can't just sweep it off. the second being that the mat arrived pre-soiled in this manner, presumably from the warehouse, and when you're replacing an old mat with a new one that's actually dirtier, and you can't just vacuum it off, that just doesn't really sit well.It's currently in the garage waiting for when I have time to clean it before I can use it.Not impressed. An easy job turned into a harder one. I would probably suggest buying a mat without the black edging if it's for indoors. I don't think they're all oddly sticky like this, but it certainly takes away much of the possibility of getting one that's pre-dirty like I did.And every time you want to clean it, you are going to have to wipe it as well as vacuum it.I guess less of an issue outside. Definitely not one for inside.

I bought this barrier mat for my patio doors, thinking when I have to two doors open the longer mat would be better. You look at it and it slips all over the place, the small dog I have can move it all over just going in and out the back garden. Waste of time, I will go buy another somewhere else.

Absolutely fantastic item, with having wooden flooring I was forever playing slip and slide with my rugs. Though I do wish they had prettier designs as they do look as though they belong in an office. A smaller boarder and designs would look absolutely amazing on them.

These mats are not like the other ones I’ve ordered before. These are much more flimsy and the pile is too soft.....they attract absolutely everything going! And they act like a magnet to my golden retriever’s fur!! Nothing like the ones I’ve had in the past.

Good value for money, this is the 2nd one I have bought due to price point however the outer rubber split twice on my first one so was looking scruffy whilst the main mat bit would have lasted a long time otherwise.

there is nothing wrong with this mat at all as a decent mat goes hense the 5 stars .We have a very long haired ginger and white cat and a little sandy coloured dog who decided that this mat was going to be their favorite place to lounge ,despite all the nice comfy spots they have around the house that they normally lounge they wanted to be on this mat. This meant that within the hour of putting it down the mat was COVERED in pet hair that even a pet hair hoover had trouble lifting .So its not going to be suitable for us but ONLY because of the cat and dogs insistence of laying on it ! Its a shame because otherwise the mat is perfect, right size, price, colour, durability, ect . Because of the animals we have had to order an alternative but if you don't have a very hairy cat and dog it;s a great mat .

Carpet in caravan was looking tired so decided to look for mats instead. On wet days the long runner can be rolled up to keep dry. Laminate floor is underneath and the mats do not move at all.They aren't the thickest but are ok for what I want. I suspect on a high traffic area they will wear. The colour is what I expected like a blue/black. Can't comment on them being easy to clean yet,but I will not be slinging them in the washer.A new fitted carpet in sections would be around £200 think I paid £60, if I decided to have a thinner carpet fitted I would probably still use them.

I expect this is the same for all of this type of mat but as I am using it as a carpet protector and I need to prevent it from moving when walked over. The mat has a lightly dimpled backing.In order to prevent the mat moving a underlay or similar is required and seem to be as expensive as the mat.So in my experience if you are considering using this on a carpet it's worth bearing in mind.
