No regrets. This was relatively inexpensive and fit exactly where I needed in my closet replacing a sagging hanging shoe rack. It holds as much but keeps it a little neater and takes up a little less space. The top fit behind the bar that clothes hangs from so is secure. The unit came in a small box with 136 pieces! 1 extra corner piece was there so actually 137. Each piece was VERY snug so assembly was tedious and hard but it proceeded smoothly without tools.

Great product. Easy to put together and sturdy. Works perfectly to store my sewing patterns efficiently and in a very compact space.

UPDATE: They work better than expected. Still not sturdy. I removed some shelves for more room. The good thing about these shelves is you can use them in many ways. You can have lots of close together shelves, tall shelves, or separate it into multiple shorter shelves. Bottom line, I was wrong, they are definitely worth the price. See new picture showing update(Original post) I want to make this very clear; These are material shelves. I'm surprised everyone gave these such good reviews. I was so disappointed when I opened the box to see rolls of material and thin pipes. What did I expect for $13 dollars? For the price, this is good for very small, not heavy items. It's so lightweight a child could easily pull this over on them. It's also extremely narrow and small. Definitely a closet item for a shoe or purse. Not sure how long this material will last. A lot of parts.I may send them all back.

This shelf unit is made of narrow tubes, corner connectors and a stiff fabric-like material for the shelves. Very light weight but when it is put together, it's quite sturdy. With pets or kids you might want to anchor it to the wall. In my picture you can make it out at the left end of my book case. I have a very small place and every inch counts, so I am very happy that it has solved the problem of where all my shoes (and daily purse) go. It took a while to put it together and I would recommend using leather gloves or some type of instrument to push with, as my hands got a bit sore from all the pushing.

It arrived in a tiny box which had me worried, but it turned out to be quite ok. It's light as a feather but really sturdy. It's well worth the price. Shoes fit perfectly on the shelves. It could also be used for books or magazines. I'm very happy with it.

I am extremely confused as to how this has such a good rating. Although it just stores shoes, which are not heavy, it’s an accident waiting to happen. It is incredibly unstable. It would probably coming tumbling down if I so much as sneezed within a 5 mile radius. The concept of being a vertical shoe rack versus a standard horizontal shoe rack does save a substantial amount of space, but it is just too light weight and cheaply made. I set it up near my front door to attempt to organize our shoe chaos, but it just keeps getting knocked down. If you were going to use it in a low traffic area or closet it would probably be more practical. This rack is ultimately just too light-weight and has such a high risk of falling forward. I also question how long the fabric shelves will hold up. They seem okay for the kids shoes, but there is already some wear on the stitching of the shelf holding men’s shoes. You get what you pay for and it’s a cheap option to save space.

Came and was better than I expected. I will buy this item again. Minor assembly but it was very simple and instructions were clear. Holds 10 pair of shoes
