I've never used a shoe stretcher in my life until now! I have this pair of shoes that are just too tight but I love them! So, rather than give them away, I decided to try a shoe stretcher! OMG! What a huge difference! Went up a full size and now the shoes are so comfortable and I'll get years of use out of them. As I've gotten older, I notice that many of my shoes are a bit tighter so this stretcher will get lots of use! Thank you!!!! Oh, it's very well made!

This device has saved me a lot of money. As I have aged, my shoe size has increased slightly which meant I needed to buy new shoes to be comfortable. I have owned other shoe stretchers for a while that stretch only the width to give more room for your toes. That does help, but with this particular shoe stretcher you have the option of also stretching the length of the shoe. I had a box of shoes I was about to give away because they were too small, but after using this stretcher, I get to keep most of them! I used a mixture of rubbing alcohol and water on a cotton ball and lightly rubbed it on the INSIDE of the shoe where I wanted it to stretch. Then, I put the shoe stretcher inside the shoe and tightened the length first to get the tip of the stretcher well into the toe box area. Then, I twisted the metal handle to stretch the width of the shoe. I left it overnight, and by morning I had a shoe that fit perfectly! I am ordering another stretcher so that I can do more than one shoe a night. I highly recommend this. It seems wells made and sturdy. It can be used either just to stretch the width, or the length, or you may do both.

I love shoes and really only buy shoes online. While the fit information from other buyers usually helps you choose the correct size, sometimes it fails and sometimes you just have a shoe (European brands usually) that run slightly small and/or narrow. Then there's the dreaded, "they don't have my size in stock, but they have a half size smaller so I'll subject my feet to medieval torture for the sake of style." Recently, I bought a pair of fabulous metallic wing tip oxfords at the Nordstrom anniversary sale. By the time mine arrived (in my regular size) and I saw they were a bit too narrow and not long enough, they were out of the next size up, so I bought these. After 72 hours in the stretcher (and using stretcher spray), the shoes now fit perfectly. These worked so well, I am now buying the stretchers for high heels and I'm even going to trust them on my precious Jimmy Choos that run between a half and full size too small.This product has quality construction at a reasonable cost.....these have paid for themselves already, but will likely end up costing me money as shoes I might have returned before will now be stretched to fit.

This worked perfectly and I was able to actually keep several pair of shoes I was going to have to give to Goodwill. I have a bunion on my left foot and this comes with 4 different size bunion caps you can attach to the shoe tree. I first used it on a leather pair of Keds tennis shoes. I first applied some Sneaker White product to moisten the leather. I kept it in for 24 hours but it required another 24 hours. I have also used it on a few pair of canvas slip on and it worked well. Just make sure you moisten the canvas first. I would highly recommend this shoe stretcher.

This was a very solid shoe stretcher. I was hesitant to buy a wooden one, so when I read reviews of this plastic one, I was very interested. I wanted to make sure that it would be durable. This did a great job stretching out my leather shoes without warping the shape of the shoe. After about a week or so, I stretched my shoe almost half a size larger so I was able to wear them comfortably for a whole day. Stretching the shoe also helped me break them in without the discomfort of blisters and chafing. I highly recommend this for new or slightly small shoes. This purchase definitely saved me a lot of money because I don't need to return ill-fitting shoes and I can make the ones I own already fit me a little better so I can wear them more.

this has saved me from the need of buying new shoes! I broke my toe a few years ago and now cannot stand to have shoes too tight around it, this product has saved some of my old shoes from the donation bin and helped break in new shoes that would otherwise hurt. I'm not sure how this stands up to other stretchers, It doesn't seem to work well on stretching length but my shoes are somewhat small at 6.5, so it may work better on larger sizes. still much cheaper than buying new shoes or taking them to a cobbler for stretching.

These really do the job for womens flat shoes. They may work with a heel, but I never tried them because I stick to flat shoes. After a couple of days, without using any spray, there was a significant difference. I think now I might be able to wear some of my shoes that were too short. It is nice to have them also, in case you are not quite sure if shoes are long enough, that you have this as an alternative in case you need it.

Great product , the wooden ones always crack or break , they never hold up .This is durable plastic and steel . Works great.
