The Versachem Tank Repair Kit permanently repairs gasoline and diesel fuel tank leaks in less than 20 minutes. Use it to repair pinholes, rust-outs, hairline cracks and holes up to 1/2" in diameter. Resistant to water, gasoline, diesel and kerosene. No tank removal necessary. Have the repair ready before mixing the hardener and resin together, so that you can begin repair as soon as the pouch contents are thoroughly mixed. Heat is generated while the epoxy mixture cures. Works best on metal and plastic tanks, fuel tanks, radiators, and oil pans. Tensile strength: 1500 PSI; temperature range: 40F to 200F.

clumpy mess.
Didn't work well because it just wanted to clump up. No matter what I did I could not get it to smooth out enough for it to do any good.

I wasted about 80% of the packet
not as yet tested but will evaluate at a later date. I gave this product a 3 star because it is expensive and is only a one time use packet and my leak was a small one and only required a small amount of product. I wasted about 80% of the packet. I'm hoping I don't have go back for additional repair because I missed something.

Junk !!
Don't waste your money like I did, and if you do, don't follow manufacturer's directions. Directions state to mix the two epoxy pouches together by applying pressure to lower half of one pouch to burst center seam and mix the two together. It states you then have under 5 minutes before it hardens. If you are lucky! It takes a good 30 seconds to knead the two together well. I figured without any air introduction my 5 minutes would start the second I cut the pouch open. No, no, no, instantly. When I cut the corner out of the pouch to start application it was already setting up. So much so that I could not spread it on my application. It turned into one big booger that did not work. Complete waste. I wish I had read another review on this stating to not mix the pouches as directed but to cut open each pouch and mix small amounts together and use as needed. In my photo you'll see the useless hardened packet and the mess it left on my tank I tried to repair. My biggest regret is I bought this at local automotive store and not Amazon so I can't return.

Lousy
The mastic which pluged the small leak dissolved or dislodged when putting the epoxy and fiberglass on tank and gas leaked under half of the wet patch and was dripping . Also this stuff sets up in 2 min if it warm out. Bought a second kit locally and it did the same thing. Had to get a different product to fix tank.

Good Buy
Contents were complete with instructions. There are videos on youtube for you to follow. I read the instructions and watch the youtube video on how to DIY. They both give great directions. So i applied to my nano leak on my BMW radiator and it worked great! Thanks
