Brilliant screen great quality and tool kits ok too, like all iPhone 14 screens I had to swap microphone over to new screen but that’s normal

So, I looked through the really mixed reviews and decided to take a chance. The screen arrived swiftly and well packaged, all tools supplied as listed. Knowing the issues I’d read and seen I knew that this was all about patience and being organised. I set up pieces of masking tape to hold the screws I removed and made sure they were replaced in the exact same places as removed as they’re all different sizes. Watch every YouTube video you can find first and when connecting the screen make sure you confirm every connection is made and stays connected! Putting the new screen back into the iPhone housing was probably the toughest bit and probably where most breaking occurs. I took my time and fitted it in under an hour. The screen is as bright and clear and the colours look perfect. Face on I would be hard pushed to tell the difference between this and the original screen (before it was broken) There is a slight colour change at very shallow viewing angles but honestly it isn’t really worth mentioning. I’d say this was a fantastic buy to keep an aging iPhone working. And, if my daughter drops it again I’ll be back for another without hesitation 😉

It fits my iPhone okay, runs okay on most applicatons, apart from true tone and auto-brightness adjustment which don't work, the digitizer goes a bit haywire, very rarely but happens especially when Google map is running while driving, it only stops doing it when it is not being charged via magesafe though. Overall, I wish it was a better product but it is a decent replacement screen as most functions work but it is not as good as the original screen in many ways, most obviously the pic quality is lower and darker.

I can't complain too much about the price considering what you get, but this screen is far from perfect so if you're looking for a replacement screen with OEM quality, look elsewhere. This isn't my main phone, it's my old phone that was broken which I've now repaired to be used as a second phone, so the issues it has don't bother me so much. When replacing your screen you should buy a replacement seal. This is not included in the kit and without it, you lose water resistance. I bought mine for less than £2 on eBay. Scrape off the old one with a plastic tool, clean the edge with alcohol, and apply the new seal in place before you install the new screen. Now, as for the screen itself, physically it's very good and looks like the original. The glass is nice and smooth and it fits perfectly. As for the actual panel, I've tested the touch accuracy and it's spot on. However, 3D touch doesn't work at all. This isn't a major issue since the introduction of haptic touch in iOS 13 (long press instead of hard press) which can be used for most things 3D touch can be used for. For example, you can still long-press onto apps to open up options, etc. However, 3D touch is still required for other features such as previewing web pages and moving the cursor with a hard (3D) press on the keyboard. You cannot do this using this panel which can be a pain if that's what you're used to. Instead, you'll have to hold onto the cursor itself to move it around. If you can live without the 3D touch functionality then you don't need to worry. I've compared this side by side with an original Apple screen. The panel is fairly decent but not as good as the original. I have no way of testing, but it looks like the resolution is lower. Text and icons are not as smooth, you can see individual pixels more clearly. The colors aren't as saturated, and the blacks aren't as dark. Now, this is a side-by-side comparison, you're unlikely to notice the difference. There is some leakage from the backlight, this is most noticeable when viewing something dark (see attached image for an example). For normal usage, you can't really tell. If you're installing this yourself you will need to remove the home button that is included and use your original in order to retain Touch ID functionality. This is just held in place with a couple of screws so it just takes a minute to swap over. If you try to use the included home button or use any other home button (including an original Apple one), Touch ID will not work. The included home button will still function as a home button, but you will have to enter your PIN to unlock the phone. You'll also have to use your PIN for ApplePay, enter your password to download apps, and you won't be able to use Touch ID on any apps that accept it (banking apps for example). Be careful when removing your original home button so you don't damage the connector or the ribbon cable as this can easily be torn. I opted to keep the included front assembly containing the camera, speaker, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. I would have replaced them with the originals if they weren't up to par. But after testing, call audio quality is good, the camera quality seems about the same, and the proximity and light sensors work as well as the originals.

La pantalla viene con todo lo necesario para instalarla, con un poco de paciencia y maña no debería haber ningún problema para que funcione a la perfección. Yo seguí un vídeo de YouTube y no tuve ningúna complicación, antes de poner la goma adhesiva que sella la pantalla y evita que entren líquidos hay que quitar los restos de la antigua, es bastante fácil. Una vez puesta se ve que es un poco más gruesa que la original, pero es inapreciable y con la funda puesta no se nota. De momento funciona bien, los colores un poco más claros pero aun así brillantes, y no he notado cambios en la duración de la batería.
