You need to enlarge existing hinge holes in cupboard
These are great, really made a secure jobI found the correct drill bit size by matching it to the diameter of the plug, then set the depth with a piece of tape on the drill bit.After drilling the holes I then vacuumed them out and stabilised them with a little very slightly diluted pva glue.After letting it dry for a couple of hours I then used a small amount of 2 part resin glue to completely fix the plugs into position I fully seated them with a small hammer then left them to set for several hours.Before fitting I also put each plug into a vice and put the screws in to pre-cut the thread which makes it easier to get the screws in while you are struggling with the door. Then re-hung the door.Spend a little time getting it completely right first time, then it will last for the duration.

Wren cupboard hinge
Bought these to fit in the holes from a wren cupboard door before fitting the hinges. Nice tight fit. Not the same as the wren dowels as they were not flush fitted ones but I had different hinges. 👍
