I am not a frequent reviewer but I felt that I have to alert other would be buyers about this book. The font size for the daily chords, notes and patterns are unreadable. They are so small that my wife strained to read them with her reading glasses. I don't wear glasses but found reading these daily lessons to be a chore. It amazes me how a publishing company could release such a book with total disregard to the final users, the readers. Obviously no QC department at this company.

It's just ok. The book is paced in lessons that could be completed in 14 days. However, you will need to put in considerable practice time. The book itself is quite boring.

There are 14 different lessons but you can go at your own pace and take many days to master each lesson. It's well explained.

This book is ok but not what I expected it to be unless you have nothing else to do it’s going to be much longer than 14 days

I have to pick this up again -- I enjoyed using it so far

I’ve used Troy Nelson series for guitar before and this seems just right for getting my skills up with my new ukulele. Easy to decipher lessons and the instruction is clear and helpful.

No suena bien

I've been trying to each myself how to play the ukulele for a few years now. I even took a few lessons but nothing has been as helpful in moving me forward as this book has. The lessons are really easy to follow and I can tell I'm improving each time I move through one. The book has been a great resource to learn more about chords and extra details I never received from my instructor.I read the one comment about font size and the author's response. It does seem like they improved the font size as I found the cords and notes easy to read; I didn't even need to use my reading glasses!Pretty soon I'll be ready for the advanced lesson book. I hope that's coming out soon.
