Works great for our rat. He still sends woodchips over the side and makes a bit of a mess. I would have liked to get him a larger cage but we have limited space. We've had this for some time and it is holding up perfectly.

The door at top is the best feature. You can easily clean the cage and take ur pet out. The floor is sleepery so u must either buy a matt or cover the floor with bedding. The gaps between the top door and cage roof are too wide so the clips that keep the door closed don't click all the way, however I've had to trouble because my bunny doesn't fight to get out. It'd still require some force to open anyways.

Removing the plastic bottom of the cage is a chore due to the CUMBERSOME DISASSEMBLY. Most cages have just a couple of clips to detach. With this cage it is very difficult to detach the bottom for weekly cleaning.

The top window is large enough to clean the cage out and makes it easy for feeding my rabbit. I love it.

My Guinea Pig was chewing up her wooden hutch faster than a beaver, so I bought this medium size cage; one of us is happy. It's a roomy, sturdy cage and I don't have to worry about wood shavings in my little friend's fuzzy tummy.

I know this is not big enough for my 2 chinchillas but it is great for when you clean their cage! U can put shelves in this rabbit cage, and vola a little temporary home for the chins!!!
