Better than expected!
I was totally prepared for this to be a typical, cheap, flimsy device that kind of did what it was supposed to do, marginally well, as it looked like such a product, but it was inexpensive and looked like it might get some use. I’m happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised by how well it works. Despite the recommendation to use small potatoes and cut them in smaller pieces, I was able to use fairly large in-cut potatoes. It took some force, with doesn’t require real muscle or anything. It’s basically, pop in a potato, slam the lever down, and you’re ready to cook your french fries. It’s easy to clean too.

Easy peazy
This saved so much prep time. From making fries to quick and easy mash potatoes. I love this product. I’ll be buying my father in law one for Father’s Day.

Pretty good for the money
It is made of plastic, so I can see where it would break down at some point. However, overall, the use is pretty good so far. Be careful of the blade. Even a slight brush will cut you; it's sharp. Not bad for the money.

Amazing veggie cutter!
I love this thing, it makes curved, uniformed french fries and can be put in the dishwasher easily.

It's alright
The good thing about this cutter is that it does cut the potatoes. However, I don't like the fact that I have to cut the potatoes into small chunks because where you put the potato isn't very big. Also, because of the way it is designed, the slot is angled so the potato didn't seem to cut properly all the time. But, because I'll most likely only use it a couple times a year, I can live with it. I wasn't willing to pay more for a better designed one.

Waste of money
This contraption DOES NOT WORK! You have to have small potatoes and even with small potatoes trying to press down the contraption starts to break. I cut myself trying to use this thing. I do not recommend

I am very impressed with this product, great value for money
I read so many bad product reviews on Amazon when choosing a french fry cutter, particularly about the metal products bending. I decided to go for the cheapest plastic product in case it broke.I was pleasantly surprised with this product as is very strong and durable, I have used it many times alreadyI cut only Russet potatoes, I have not tried harder roots like sweet potatoThe area in which the potato is placed is small, a large Russet potato will have to be cut into 6 pieces, however the fries are an acceptable size. The smaller size of potato means that excessive force is not required to push it through the cutter blades. When cleaning take care with the cutter blades, they are VERY sharp.Enjoy the fries!

Elbow grease
You need a lot of power to put out just 1 potatoe. Blades not sharp enough for the job.

This worked once before it fell apart.
This product was easy to clean and that's about it. Work good first time and second use started to fall apart. The part that holds the metal slicer shifts and ended up cutting plastic pieces that push potatoes through. Then the screw that holds slicer in place snapped off and it went to the dump. Unfortunately worst produce I've ever purchased. My mistake to buy a plastic one. Buying a stainless steal model and see how that goes.
