Excellent value and quality
For the price I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the item. It has a real wood handle with a lovely smooth finish. The portafilter head is chrome plated and includes a basket. And contrary to the other review mine doesn't leak in use.I haven't had a chance to pull many coffees with it yet, but being able to get a 18g dose compared to the 12g of the original is a game changer.

Broke within 8 weeks. No warranty with this item - Avoid!
Had it for about 8 weeks, it was decent and then the metal snapped during normal use and the hot water sprayed everywhere. Surprised it didn't damage my machine.Warning: The item can only be returned within the standard 30 days... there is no warranty so you're unable to return it even if it clearly has a manufacturing fault. Avoid.

Well Made and Seems very Robust
I'm very impressed with the chromed finish on the portafilter as it makes cleaning a breeze. In use. the overall height of the portafilter is greater than the supplied basket so I can't see the coffee coming through the underside of the basket to judge whether I need to adjust my grind size. For this reason, only four stars

A must-have tp up your dedica espresso game
Absolutely perfect. I've had mine for months and once you've dialed in your grind (get a burr grinder - my recommendation is the https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00P81AQUU/ - does a great espresso grind and is really configurable plus is fab value for money for what it does) the difference in your espresso shots is unbelievable. Being able to see the channeling etc through the bottom of the portafilter is a game changer.Love it.

Broke after only a few months
This product was pulling great coffee until today it decided to fail. One of the lugs decides to break and blew hot water everywhere. Can’t return or replace the product because I’ve had it a few months. Disappointing!

Handle snapped off after 2 weeks
Worked great for 2 weeks, then the handle snapped off!

Does exactly what it was designed to do.... and VERY Well
Wonderful, though one caveat, IF you use Ready Ground Coffee, get a Puck Filter!With freshly ground beans however it isn't quite as important, but I use it all the time anyway.

Doesn't last!
I am on my 2nd product now and this has just failed on me after less than a year. Seems to be a weak point in the design as it failed in the same place.
