NVI/NIV Biblia Bilingüe, Leathersoft, Azul (Spanish Edition)

THIS IS FOR THE PAPERBACK VERSION:I bought this Bible for my daughter because she is going on a mission trip to Honduras in a week. When it arrived, she noticed it had some minor wear that should not be too big of a problem. Its bottom edge was crimped and the binding holding the back cover to the pages was starting to come apart. Unfortunately, she is unsure if she should take this Bible with her on the mission trip because it is relatively big and bulky and she will need to hike with it. If she does, I will need to purchase a carrying case for her to prevent the pages from getting damaged.When I was looking at this Bible online, I was disappointed at the lack of information or pictures, so I decided to provide those here.Features:-Concordance in the back (but it's only in Spanish)-Spanish glossary-List of weights and measures in both languages-No maps-Thin pages-No red letters for when Jesus is talking-About 9 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 1.5 inches thick-Weight: 1,255 grams or just over 2 pounds-Spanish Nueva Version Internacional (1999) on the right and English New International Version (2011) on the left-Introductions for each book of the Bible in Spanish & English-A summary of the Bible and the types/categories of each of the books in both Spanish & English at the front of the Bible.-No extra features or explanations (except the introduction at the beginning of each book) like you might find in a Bible geared for teens or in a study Bible.-Thin marginsI hope this helps anyone who is also looking at buying this Bible. Be aware that as big and bulky as the paperback version is, it does not lend itself well to travel. I am sure that this Bible is great and useful for teaching people who speak English or Spanish, but missionaries might want to look elsewhere or at least buy a case for it too.

We bought these bibles prior to going on a mission trip to El Salvador. I like this bible better than the hardcover esv version because the print is larger and easier to read although with the international travel and use the edges will get a little torn

Nice bible, easy to read. I just starting using bifocals and the font is fine for me. Unfortunately it was delivered in an plastic envelope and the Bible cover itself was a bit ripped. Kept it anyway.

When I received this and opened it up I was thrilled to see the beauty and quality. The colors were beautiful and very appropriate for a male recipient. I purchased this for my son-in-law who is from Columbia but speaks fluent English. The english text is in the left column of the page while the spanish text is on the right column. Meaning that you don't have to flip to the other end of the book to see the opposite language. My husband almost cried when he saw it. Very, very impressive. So glad I got it. P.S. I had my son-in-law's name gold stamped on the lower right corner of the cover.

I spent a lot of time looking for a good bilingual NIV Bible, and I am very satisfied with this one! It has an outstanding set up - the Spanish and English are right next to each other on the pages; one is in the left column and one in the right. I seriously love it! I have two older friends who both looked at the Bible and said the printing was too small for them, so just be aware that the writing is a bit on the smaller side. Great purchase!

I love this Bible so much! It teaches me new Spanish all the time. I am completely satisfied with it. For comparison sake, it's about the same size and weight as the Apologetics Bible. It's a dark blue and orange/leather color. It is very aesthetically pleasing. The pages are very nice. My only complaint is that the words of Jesus are not in red. Other than that it's great!
