JFJ Disc Repair JFJPROB Easy Pro Buffing Pad

This is basically an exact copy of JFJ's own white pads for their Easy Pro disc polishing machine. It's only SLIGHTLY softer, but also almost half the price from buying directly from JFJ. The unfortunate part is that the only way to get a perfect finish with discs, is to actually buy the softer yellow pads directly from JFJ, and use them AFTER using the white pad. I'm not sure why JFJ doesn't include the yellow pads with their machine. For the price you're paying for a brand new machine, it should. It's the only way you're going to get a perfect, brand new finish for restored discs. Also, don't use their compound. You get better (for cheaper) results using a bottle of Meguairs' Ultimate Compound and also their Ultimate Polish. It's how I was able to restore neglected DVDs, CDs, and all video game discs.

The machine these pads work with are awesome! Is one of the best purchases I've ever made. We own PLAYSTATION, XBOX,BLU-RAYS etc., It cleans and repairs them all. These are just the replacement pads. I feel the 1* product ratings are unfair since most of those people DIDNT bother to read description of product. It clearly states for use with the machine. How can you rate an item when you can't use it properly? Just an opinion.

Luckily this is the right size pads I need for my JFJ Easy Pro + unit or it would not fit. The site here dose not give the right measure of the thickness of the pads. Order some years ago and needed to use them but they were way to big for my machine ( 1" 1/2 thick ). So I order this one that's 3/4" thick which fits nicely. So when ordering your new pads for your JFJ easy disk descratching unit be sure your measure you old pad and look at the listing before buying to find out its the wrong size thinkness.

They have changed the material that these are made out of! They DO NOT hold moisture (the polishing compound) making them scratch the discs and they last for about 1/10 as long as the old ones did. Here is a pic after less than 15 minutes of use, in 20 second stages re-applying at age stage. Has been the same story for about 4 months, 2 dozen pads. Npt getting any answers or replacements. See reviews online of new pads.

This product works fine. I usually purchase from the company that makes the dvd repair machine. I have no complaints about these buffing pads they work great. Just make sure they’re the ones for your machine model you have I bought them here on amazon because they are a little cheaper and come faster.

I was a little skeptical when I first received this buffing pad. It was a bit thinner than the one that came with the machine, but it works just as well if not better. I have cleaned about the same amount of discs with this pad as the ones that came with my JFJ Easy Pro, and this one seems to be holding up better. With the original pad, especially the one used for the white compound, it seemed to wear down and fray quickly leaving little pieces of itself in the machine. This buffing pad has not had that problem so far. I would recommend this pad to anyone in need of replacing their originals.

These pads do what they're supposed to do, but why are they so expensive? It's just a circle piece of foam pad. I bet they're expensive because you can only get them from JFJ! They can pretty much charge what they want I guess. So it loses one star for that.
