This QR plate fits the manfrotto XPRO fluid head and is interchangeable with the manfrotto head. Someone else said this was too big or small for a manfrotto...not for my situation. Metal seems to be aluminum, or at least non magnetic, so probably won't rust. Using this for a spotting scope window mount, and wanted a plate/adapter that would be interchangeable with the manfrotto head on a tripod. This does the job.

Light weight, compact, secure. Specially at a fraction of the cost of the big brand name. I have three RC2 like this from the brand name to generic brand. This one is the only one that I came across has level bubble.There was a shipping issue that it got lost. But Amazon took care of it immediate after I called. Kudo to Amazon.

As good as the Manfrotto RC2 Quick Release Plate Adapter, considerably less expensive, and the levelling bubble is a nice plus. I have now purchased enough of these to keep permanently attached to each of my tripod heads.

Sioti 323 works well with my Manfrotto tripods for heavy DSLRs such as my Canon EOS 5DS-R and Canon 90D with attached heavy telephoto lenses such as my Canon EOS 100-400mm f\4.5-5.6 L II. The built-in bubble level indicator is a nice extra feature.

I liked the fact I was able to switch my optics quickly . I got it so all of my optics have the same RC2 quick release system.

This is not a standard size quick release. The plate is about 3 mm larger between engagement surfaces than typical. If you plan to only use this one quick release with any given camera, this is not a big issue, but you WILL NOT be able to swap the camera between different tripods with other quick releases, and ONLY a camera with this quick release plate attached will fit in this QR base.This issue makes this product useless for many applications where a QR base is most needed. However, if have just one tripod, and just one camera, and are only looking for something that will allow you to switch between tripod and handheld easily, or save wear and tear on the camera body, this will suffice nicely. It is a solidly built but not amazing QR. Metal construction, solid engagement, locks open, locks closed. Has one multi-way (circular) bubble level that is fairly visible with even a larger DSLR body mounted.Personally I recommend looking elsewhere. In this price range, you can find standardized sizing, multiple levels, and equivalent or better overall construction. The one I bought to replace this has 4 bubble levels (tube levels for each of the three axes, plus a circular level) and much better lock release mechanism. It only cost $4 more.
