Rocky Mountain Goods Hose Sprayer Attachment with 16oz Bottle - for Spraying Fertilizer, Soap, Pesticide, Chemical, Insecticide - Dilution Mix Adjuster - Nozzle Angle Adjustment for Trees/Garden

This 2024 summer, for whatever reason, there's an infestation of webworm in this southeastern coast of Texas. Thousands of caterpillars would devour our tree leaves. Not only does it make the tree unsightly, there are literally 30 caterpillar crawling up and down our patio and along our exterior sidewalls. Caterpillars don't bite of course, but they eat and produce lots of droppings. For a while it feels like my patio smelled like a farm with dry straw and hays (guess caterpillars eat the leaves and their droppings make it feel that way)After reading many pos/neg reviews, still decided to buy this Rocky Mountain Goods sprayer. IT WORKS ! Simply hook it up to a hose and it'll spray. i'll demystify a few negative comments:1. The bottle did come w/ metric measurements and imperial units directly marked on the bottle. On the bottle, there's clear marking for each of the dials 1- 10 settings that corresponds to the equivalent ml/liter (metric) and oz/gallon (imperial) concentration For even more diluted applications (teaspoon instead of tablespoon), there's a little copper piece that you can unscrew from the top of the bottle, screw onto the nozzle tubing inside the bottle, and that allows low level vs. full level adjustment. Again, this is clearly marked on the bottle. I think there's a user submitted video on this amazon product page that shows exactly this.2. Yes it does leak the pesticide. BUT, only if you tilt the bottle. For me , I had to aim the spray to as high as possible to top of the tree branches, so I had to tilt the bottle upwards, rather than flat (aiming straight, bottle perpendicular to the ground). Tilting it at an angle does allow the product in the bottle to back flow out. However, I think this is expected. If you hold it upright, no risk of leaking.3. I'd say with decent water pressure 60psi, the spray will spray in a fan-out pattern, probably as distant as 6-8 feet. I didn't not true tampering with the piece at the tip of the sprayer, it appears that it can be removed, but I did not try.4. I've had it for 6 wks, used about 4 times. It feels like the product will hold up well. The sprayer itself is made of copper it seems, and feels sturdy. I expect it'll last for a little while. Overall very happy with my purchase.

I've purchased a few different fertilizer sprayers, and so far this is my favorite. Has clear measurements on the side, easy to understand. And does not leak

There was no manual for instructions with this. Also, it did not work. When I finished spraying the apple tree all the pesticide was still in the bottle. It did not suck any of the take that one submit pesticide out of the bottle. It was a waste of my time.

This sprayer attachment saved me from using that backpack hand-pump sprayer again, narrowly saving my enjoyment of lawn-keeping. The build quality could be better (seems prone to snapping in several places), but for the price, it’s an amazing QOL improvement for me over a backpack sprayer. If you take really good care of it, it should last 5-10 years.

I had borrowed a neighbor’s sprayer and figured I needed to buy my own. This one is way easier than hers to pick the dilution ratio. And the range/ height of the spray is better than I expected. I could cover all my fruit trees top to bottom. Easy to clean too.

Good product / fair price

The good news it that this sprayer is very powerful and the stream goes over 20 ft. So, I can use it to spray off the moss on the roof of my 1-story house. However there is much bad news...1) the bottle looks very large in the pictures... but it is only 15 ounces. So, just 3 ounces more than a can of soda, 2) the mixture rate is VERY LOW!!! On setting #10, it mixes 23 ml per liter which is 2.3% mixture. That is the maximum this will provide. In my case, the moss killer I am using requires a 20% mixture! I was able to install a slightly larger diameter hose in the bottle, but I am not sure if that can increase the mixture. I feel that this information is not provided in the advertisement. If I had known the maximum mixture was 2.3% I would not have bought it. That is why I am giving it 3 stars. However, if you are using it for soap or a super concentrated pesticide then I am sure it's 4-stars

Works fine. We have been using this type of sprayer for many years, just needed a new one.

I ordered this for my husband to use in our large garden. He was tired of inferior ones that broke easily. This one is strongly made and should outlast the lesser quality spray guns/nozzles he has used before for fertilisers and pest spraying. He is very happy. They are not cheap though as we are in Australia- this one worked out to about A$72 with P and H added etc but the quality is there. Hope it lasts now.

I use this to spray liquid fertiliser. The ready to use packs of fertiliser that you connect a hose to are very hit and miss. Sometimes they empty quickly and sometimes take forever. So the concentration of fertiliser is too much or too little. With this sprayer you can dial in the strength according to the recommendations of the fertiliser manufacturer (requires a bit of maths for ratios. I use setting 2 for full strength Seasol or similar).TIP; Buy the fertiliser in the bigger packs as it is cheaper and more concentrated.

Easy to use

This sprayer is excellent to use when using Surfactants or any type of liquid fertiliser that is sprayed onto your lawn and needs immediate watering in!So easy to use with accurate mix adjuster and angle adjustment!
