Fantastic Boss Delay
The DD-8 is a great pedal. It sounds just as you imagine what a Boss delay pedal should sound like. It is built like a tank and their no volume drop-off when engaging the effect, like other delay pedals can sometimes have. All the various modes give you a lot of flexibility to your delay sounds. The digital delay setting is clean and crisp, and the warm and analog settings give you a darker, warmer tone, emulating the tone of an analog pedal. The reverse setting is very good. The tape setting does a passable job IMO, but other delay pedals are much better for that type of sound. The looper is nice but a little short in its duration. Tap tempo can be accessed internally by pressing the footswitch for a few seconds, setting the tempo via a few taps, and pressing the footswitch again for a few seconds to confirm the tempo. If you are going to play live with it, an external tap tempo footswitch might be a good idea to get. Overall though, it is a great sounding pedal.

The only delay you need
The choices are almost infinite, yet still easy to dial in. From classic echo to very modulated delays all in one stomp box. The durability of Boss is second to none and the versatility of this pedal makes it my ONLY delay.

Little pricey, worth every penny
This things awesome. It was a bit more than I like to spend on pedals, but I realized after a few jamms it's worth it. It added a ton of depth and range to our 2 person band, and now we almost sound like a 3 person band lol. If you wanna expand your guitar scope or just like making really realy wierd noises buy this pedal.

This little thing is a beast. It is built solid mostly metal. Not the sound I was looking for but has exceeded my expectations.

Excellent delay
Lots of options. Easy set up. This is my splitter for running a stereo rig. The stereo delay sounds great. It's a classic for a reason.
