Q: Can I use this in baby formula?

Thick-It powder will thicken any liquid but please do not use this product to thicken baby formula for an infant without consulting your pediatrician. - Sleepwalker, RN

Q: Add more liquid later to thin?

Yes, it does thicken up well , and you can thin it by adding a teaspoon of water and stirring.

Q: Can you thicken pasta and gravy sauces with this in general cooking?

Just use regular corn starch. I use it for gravies for roast beef, stew, pot roast and chicken and turkey gravies. Also use it for alfredo and just a tiny bit for marsala sauce.
